I haven’t ordered any of the other bits. So I can’t comment directly on that. One of the former @RSI North America Inc CS reps said they might be working on a discount codes for people that recieved damaged caps in the first shipments that could be used on accessories. But he doesn’t work with them anymore and I didn’t follow up on that front with everything else going on. I would be really interested in the table. But for our use the bins/kitchen/etc take up too much valuable interior space.

Let us all know how you like the accessories if you end up scoring some!
Will do for sure. I'm looking to do a tool bin or two half bins, whichever I can get first. Should be able to get some tools, recovery gear as well as install power management and a couple 50ish AH lithiums. I'm not too big on the kitchen because I feel like it's too much space for little return. Looks cool but not my flavor.

I like that hard shell tent. Do you know about how much it weighs?

How much “drag” on the rear window seal are you supposed to get when closing the window? I get a decent amount and seems very weather tight but I’m worried it’s going to wear it. The tailgate also fits quite tight to its weatherstripping.

First trip with everything setup and it was a success. Really happy with how the cap did overall. Super happy to finally have it installed and working.

Couple small things to sort out. The replacement rear lift gate door didn’t have the bottom rubber seal trimmed to the proper width. So I had cut that down a bit to get it to close properly, not that big of a deal. My seal does crap on the tailgate pretty bad still despite putting the extra blocks under the back. I’ve got some additional height units on the way to try and space it up a tad bit more.

I went with some @Front Runner load bars for the top. They were rock solid, no issues. But I now wish I’d just gone for one of their racks since I could use the QD RTT mounts. My poor knuckles still aren’t happy after the install/removal ;)

The Roofnest Condor was also great. We had an evening on the trip while camping in Rabbit Valley, overlooking the Colorado River, with winds gusting well over 40mph... despite a rough night sleeping, nothing bent or fabric torn. ? (Our 7 year old slept straight through the entire thing, go figure!)

Again, this cap is really so well thought out. I’m very glad to have gotten through the issues with damaged panels tonfinally have it installed and in use. Hopefully RSI can keep up with demand and get through the QC/Shipping damage hiccups, as I think we all want to see them be successful in the long term.

Looking good! :like: Are you sleeping 3 in Your Condor? I’ve been looking at all the RTTs... we have 2 smalls kids (2 & 4) now, but might still need the XL for all 4 of us.

I forget the word used in the instructions, but “graze” comes to mind. I can’t get that to happen unless I go very light on the clamp torque while using 15mm blocks. If I torque to spec, it just dimples the plastic rail caps as reported by others. Even with less torque, the ribs on the D gaskets are already wearing off after a week. The gaskets are very very soft. I have some 20mm blocks coming so hopefully I can put more torque on the clamps, closer to what’s called for, and just graze the gaskets. It’s close now but I had to back off the clamp torque a lot.

Found a few sets of RSI load bars in stock locally for full size and mid size trucks. The Gladiator-specific bars weren’t there, but after doing some measuring of the full size, we couldn’t imagine why they wouldn’t work for this application. Bringing the Jeep in on Saturday to see if we can get my RTT mounted. Will post up the results for anyone interested. I’m still scratching my head as to how the CAD drawings indicated the Glad and full size are the same length but different parts.

The difference might be the track hardware. Frontrunner has a specific mounting kit they sell to attach their roof rack to the RSI cap for the Gladiator. The default kit that ships with the rack has to have the nuts modified in order to use them.

RSI load bars made for Smartcap work independent of make/model of truck. The full size bars are 53” in length in comparison to midsize bars that are 45” in length. I needed wider bars so I contacted OR (who contacted RSI) and we found out that they will work. The only possible issue RSI brought up is the gull-wing door coming in contact with the bar. After measuring, this shouldn’t be an issue.

I think you will be fine since the load bars will be about 3” above the rails. I recently did some measuring and if I recall 53” was getting close at the rail height, so the load bars will probably be fine. I was seeing how long I could go with low profile extrusion.

Mine certainly is more than a graze. Where can one get thicker blocks?

All of the various size RSI load bars will work with the Gladiator caps. The longer bars (ie those for the F150) will overhang the cap more whereby possibly interfering with the gullwing side openings. But they can be installed.

As for the other RSI accessories such as the kitchen, bins and tool drawers, these have been in incredibly high demand and almost zero supply thus far. We expect some of these items to be available starting this summer to fulfill those that pre-ordered and hopefully some extras to fill new orders in late summer or fall timeframe.

Like almost everything automotive related right now, demand is far surpassing supply.
