Nope - just make sure you loosen both ends of all control arms and both ends of the track bars and torque them back to spec when all tires are back on the ground. Always tighten and torque with the vehicle sitting at the new normal height
Your informative response sounds like you think I can do this in my driveway. Is it possible to put on springs in the driveway? Do I need jackstands? Special tools like a spring compressor? Hydraulic 3- ton harbor freight jack? What kinda torque in this operation? Am I gonna end up buying a wrench set too? Already bought a socket set and a 13-mm wrench for the sway bar or stabilizer disconnect prior to off-roading (one of gvsukids’ posse showed me how).

1 floor jack, 2 jack stands, and 2 wrenches. Very doable in your driveway.

Edit. Sorry, 4 wrenches. I forgot the sway bar end link and the brake line bracket.

As long as you have a secure flat spot for the jack stands to support the Jeep, and can roll a floor jack under there...... yea.
Safety first. Getting it done isn't as important as getting it done and coming out alive and with all 10 fingers.

I use a Harbor Freight Icon 250 lb/ft torque wrench.

Do you know what size?

It is possible to do it without loosening the control arm bolts, but you shouldn't.

Not knowing any better, I initially did mine without loosening the control arm bolts, and I had to get a bigass pry bar to get the rear springs in. I only got like 1/2" of height.

I re-did it by loosening all control arm bolts, letting stuff sag, then putting vehicle weight back on it before torqueing down, and ended up with closer to an inch of lift. Those nuts and bolts are beefy, so you gotta have some big sockets and wrenches, unfortunately.

I used Mopar's torque specs from their lift (page 19), which is handy because it also lists wrench sizes, but some of my nuts and bolts were bigger than what this guide lists. Thankfully my father had impact sockets for all and I just had to buy a couple of box wrenches.

Like said above, you'll need two jack stands and two floor jacks to do it. Spring compressor not necessary. Have a roll of masking or electrical tape to keep the upper spring isolators in place (the rotational position of the springs DOES matter).

1. Makes it more difficult to get parts to drop down
2. You end up with the bushings now in a bind, twisted up, instead of in a neutral or center position for up and down flexing. Adding a lift without letting the bushings loose, then tightening them at the new "curb height" means they are already twisted and and further flexing down of the axle will stress and possibly tear them.

I like the Jack Stand trick there. How did you hold the other side of the fastener when you torqued it?

Box end wrench and allowed it to wedge up against body.
Sometimes the wrench is tricky to get back off, it took a time or two for me to figure the right place and wrench.
Thanks.

Figured it was something like that or you invented some Rube Goldberg Machine to get it done.

If you have another jackstand ( I have two light duty ones from another life) you can use the jackstand to hold the backup wrench too. That way it doesn't get jammed up in somewhere that can become a pain to get out

Yeah, that's a way, too - won't get "stuck" hard against something up above.
