Rubicon red dash no more?

I think I’ve found a solution if my dash doesn’t come in the red. I might even do it anyways since I’m concerned about the scratching of the red ??

my buddy has a launch edition with that interior. Looks nice in person. Someone on the JL forum was selling those pieces.

I am thinking the red dashes maybe becoming a parts constraint and they are not holding up builds and shipping some Rubicon's with the grey dashes regardless.

I am sure there is fine print somewhere where Jeep reserves the right to change specifications as they see fit and will use that as an out from those complaining of not getting a red dash.

I didnt like the red dash and they supplied the black with red stitching as part of the deal. I'll have it done in a few weeks and will post it in the for sale section.

I think an option for Red or Gray would be good. I personally don't care for the Red dash. It's a little too in your face and in a lot of ways clashes with a lot of color schemes.

I recall When I got my JLUR and wanted the green. being told it comes with grey dash cause it will classh was the crap excuse I got. was also told at that time I couldnt order green with black leather. which made ZERO sense to me. But I guess the rest of the red accents that are on it dont clash. either way...... at the price of this vehicle, just put what the customer wants.

My 2020 Punk'n Rubi has the red dash. Wife didn't like it, we looked at a Red JTR and the reds didn't match at all. Problem solved.

It depends on exterior color. Nacho, Gecko, Gobi, Punkn, maybe others, don't get a red dash. Mine is a 2021 Nacho, and has a gray dash.

Basically, flashy colors get grey dash. Also, the tan leather gets the gray dash.

Red would look dumb along with some colors anyway. And this got 3 pages of comments? Good lord folks got too much time on their hands.

Still get red stitching and the Rubicon badge on the seats. You get everything. Just no red dash. Plenty of red elsewhere.

I don’t know who does the color coordinating for them but they need to take his vodka bottle away…

My 2020 Rubi in Gator has a red dash with the black leather interior accented with red stitching. It doesn’t match the outside in any way shape or form, but I actually do like it. So does my wife. It’s actually a really nice interior scheme. It’s like all outdoorsy business on the outside and pure sexy luxury when you step in. Kinda weird but pretty cool when you get used to it.

May I suggest some have different interests and priorities? We’re not all at the same place at the same time.
