So my 37” Patagonia MTs came and rather wan wait for my Clayton 2.5” lift to arrive before mounting, I decided to try them with just the stock Rubicon suspension and the 1.5” Teraflex leveling kit. Honestly, I don’t think it looks bad at all and if you were not going to off road it, it would probably work for DD activities.

Looks good, how is the power loss with those tires, pretty big and heavy.

Honestly, so far with just about 4 min on the highway and the rest of the time running around in country roads, it’s not too far off from the 35s. I did notice it when trying to jump on it on the highway but not a show stopper unless you are doing a lot of heavy towing. I also have a pedal commander so I can make the pedal more sensitive which does help with the feel.

Does 1.5" leveling kit give enough clearance to do mild trails? In other words, will the bump stop that comes with the Teraflex prevent any interference with the fenders at the full articulation?

So my guess, based on how close my 35s were to touching the fenders when flexed, I would probably do some fender damage if I was disconnected running the 37s. Now mild trails while connected or even not flexing while disconnected, I MIGHT be OK but I for one am not taking chances. I am skipping the wheeling trips until I can get my lift on next week.

Thank you for your input. I wanted to keep the stance but that sounds like that will limit the off road capability. I will have to seriously consider 2+" lift.

Yep, same thing here. I do not abuse the JT but don't want to be afraid to "use it" either. I wanted the 37s knowingit would push the need for at least 2" lift. I decided on the Clayton Ride Right+ setup paired with Fox 2.0 shocks. The lift gets my ride height corrected while providing the parts for those areas that need the corrections the most (caster at the front with the upper control arms and the front and rear adjustable track bars). I didn't want to go too high though and drive need for more part replacements. The mopar kit is nice but lacks the track bars....but the Clayton kit lacks the shocks. Cost of the 2.0 shocks or the lack of the track bars is a wash is added costs and it my not be needed with the Mopar kit only being 2.0 inches. But, future proofing is built into the Clayton kit with all of it being adjustable vs nothing being adjustable in the Mopar kit.

I agree. I’m on road right now but I think I’d be getting into the flares disconnected

So far I really like them, being a bit of a hybrid tire although designated as an MT, they are quiet and handle well, even in a 37. At $244 a tire for 37s and the little time I have on them, I’d do it again! They are quieter than my Goodyear MTRs that I also thought were quiet.

How many miles do you have on them? How often do you rotate them? Thank you!

I have about 1000 miles on them now but will rotate about every 5000 like I do with all of my tires....
