Finally got all my stuff installed, and I love it. Made a huge difference towing, hardly any sway in the rear as compared to before. I keep my bags at 8-10 PSI when not towing, and so far I have towed at 25PSI, measured just under 3/4” sag in the rear when hooked up to the camper.

I have the Mopar 2". I have a RTT. But, I leave it on even when I tow the 22'. Just don't feel like taking it off. It rode and handled pretty good. I run a Blue Ox WDH. But, I installed the Airlift Ram 1500 HD bags and it handles so much better. If you have a lift of 1-2", you need the Ram 1500 bags. The bags they sell for the JT will be too short. And the HD bags are stronger than the regular bags. Works great!

First of all, with that much weight you should be utilizing a weight distribution hitch.

If you still have any squat with that then the air bags will help.

Set your front level for unloaded truck.
Set for an UNloaded truck? Everything Ive read says to load it for a realistic scenario, then adjust the hitch. Or am I misunderstanding something? I put 40 lbs in my Firestone bags, passengers in the truck, then set the hitch with a typically loaded trailer. Within 1/4" on the front, drives like a dream. Possibly better than unlaiden. The rear doesn't squat with the wdh, but the bags take the bounce out.

He’s saying the same thing. You should set up your hitch so the front is the same as it is when unloaded.

I have your exact setup. There seem to be several part numbers for the Airlift Ram 1500 HD. Do you have the part number you used?

Bumping an old thread. I just got the airlift kit and am wondering how yall installed the bags without removing the springs? My bags are quite stiff. I can't get them to collapse onto themselves. any thoughts?
