I ordered my Rubicon in late May with the hope of delivery by Father’s Day. Latest update is July 24th delivery date. Yesterday, I called the dealer and asked how much they would charge for them to keep the stock 33’s and install A/T 35’s. Only $1305 extra! I’m sure my wife won’t mind.

Anyone have photos of their Glads with 35’s w/o a lift?

I’m considering the same. Take delivery of mine in early August. What 35’s are you going with? I was looking at Nitto Ridge Grappler. I think they fit the stock rubicon rim.

Check discount tire direct. I bought 5 BFG A/T KO2 315/70/17 load c for just over $1000. Installation should run about 20-25 per tire. If you call them and mention the Jeep forum, they give $50 off for set of 5. You could sell the 33s on Craigslist and be far ahead.

I’m going with the BFGoodrich T/A KO2. I’m rolling the tire cost into the financing.

There’s lots of guys who have tossed on 35’s with no lift...most are under the thread “what did you do to your Gladiator today?” but check out Brandon’s response and pics @ https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/35s-or-37s.18093/

The dealer is charging you the full price of the new tires, keeping the off tires and you are effectively financing two sets of tires for the duration of the note, one set is gone before you get it, and the other long before they are paid off.

That is a terrible economic decision.

Your being ripped off if you're paying 1300 for new tires and they are keeping your old but new ones. Youre essentially giving them the old ones for free...

Heres a pic of mine on 315 Duratracs and AEV Pintlers

Just for shits and giggles, I wonder what the dealer wants for the tire upgrade if you keep the 33s? Just to pile on, the dealer is giving it to you with no lube on that tire deal. Hope you can arrange a better deal and come out happy with your choice.

PS- keep those pics of 35s coming!

Check with your small local tire shops. I have a friend locally who was selling these for $600 a set about a year ago on a special purchase. Often times your small tire shops with low overhead have the best deals.
