Rubicon Wildpeak realistic mileage

I need to replace the original mud tires on my Willys and found a set of rubicon take offs with 20k miles, no patches, no plugs $300. Could I expect to get another 20k-30k miles out of them? That would hold me over for another couple of years.

The ones I’m looking at are the all terrain wildpeak variant.

I forgot to mention that I’m looking at all terrain tires. I always assumed you generally get more miles out of an all terrain then a mud tire.

Yep you should be able too. I have 35k on the muds, and feel I could easily get another 15k. If anything check they've worn evenly

Measure the depth of the tread left on these vs. the depth when new. It’s not a 100% guarantee the remaining tread will wear the same but if you have half the tread left you can probably easily come close to getting another 20K miles.

We have them on my Rubicon and also purchased them for my wife's Ford Ranger.

I'd recommend you get them. No matter how long they last, they will be an amazing tire in all weather conditions while they do last. Ours seem to have little to no wear.

Total mileage on both vehicles, is 23,000 miles and 2 full years of all types of weather.

Agree - I put W.P. AT3W's on my wife's '21 JL when we purchased it new and they are still a great ride 22k miles later. Great traction in all conditions here in New England and low road noise. I'm switching my JT from Goodyear Wrangler A/T radials (55k miles) to W.P. AT3W.

This is my first experience with the Wildpeak ATs but 20k miles in and love them.

Another great option is the General Grabber ATs. I forget what they're called now (maybe ATX or AT3s). Went through 2 sets on my JKU. Each of them lasted btwn 55-60k miles.

Just remember that the best traction, safety, etc. are realized with new tires having full tread depth. As others stated, I am happy with the AT3W tires.

Yup, that's about the price of one new tire. A good deal for four tires, even better if it's five. As mentioned, check for uneven wear.

I have them , you should get them, you will enjoy them over the MT tires, and should get at least 20K out of them for what is short money. I would also check rthe marketplace section some people sell tire and wheel combos for cheap prices.....Jack

I would say they're good for at least 50K miles without issue, but I do a lot of highway driving (20K+ miles a year) and mine still look great.
