Got a squeak in the front when turning the steering wheel. Had it for a while. Finally traced it to the drag link tie rod end on the pitman arm. So I have the Core 4x4 drag link and tie rod coming. Should be here next Wednesday. I looked at all of the other linkages out there. Some were cheaper, some have different requirements. I went with Core because I can get it powder coated. Polish aluminum or anodized aluminum won't hold up with the road salt here in the winter. Plus it has the 2.5 ton Apex anti-flop tie rod ends.

Going over the JT for our trip to Denver next week. Think it needed an air filter. Only 43,000 miles on the oem one.

Did the oil change, oil filter change, tire rotation, grease all the Johnny joints. Installed the Core steering linkage with Apex tie rod ends. Sent an oil sample to Blackstone.

The tire dolly from Summit Racing really made the tire rotation easy. Put the tire on the dolly. A few pumps on the pedal. Line up the studs to the bolt holes. Push the tire into place.

Yesterday and today. I did my oil change, oil filter, fuel filter, cabin air filter, tire rotation, grease the Johnny joints on the control arms and track bar, and the steering linkage. Inspect everything else. And sending an oil sample off to Blackstone. Have 54,400 mile on now.

I removed the old fuel filter and installed to new fuel filter. Something didn't feel right. So i removed the new filter to inspect. Found a o-ring sitting on top of it. Where's it go? It goes inside the filter on top. i must have dislodged it when I removed the filter. It's a pita to put back in place.

Have a Fox ATS steering stabilizer with a Clayton relocation bracket for the axle coming Monday from Clayton. I got the tie rod bracket from Core since that's where I got my steering linkage from. The tie rod is 2" or 50mm in diameter. The tie rod piece is beefy. It's from Apex. With it, I can use just about any stabilizer with it.

Looking at brake pads and rotors. I've used EBC pads and rotors before and had good luck with them. Had them on my Power Wagon, Grand Cherokee TralHawk, and Nismo. So that's what I'm looking at now. Here's the break down on the parts.

Front Yellowstuff pads. $150.53.
