Is this ONLY for hand crank windows or are people chiming in with powered windows as well?

Mine is headed to the dealership next week… I’ll report back with what they find!
both my rears have this issue. I have manual windows and have to "re-close" them about once per month.
Hey, jbehrn and piroman683. If either of you choose to visit the dealer for this concern, we are happy to help. Send a private message with more details to get started.

Update: got the Jeep back from the dealer and was told that it was designed that way because the doors can come off. When I expressed frustration with that answer because it doesn’t happen on the other 3 doors I was met with a “keep an eye on it” response.
So I’ll be watching it and bringing it back when it happens again.

I noticed my rear passenger window was loose when drying her off after a wash yesterday. Keeping an eye on this thread.

And like OP’s, mine is no longer loose. (I rolled it completely down and then back up. Maybe that resets it?)

Mine doesn't feel loose but after a few months it keeps ever so slightly working it's way downs both the rears. I got manual windows, never had this happen on any other vehicle I've owned with manual windows, seems weird. I rarely have anyone in my back seat, so I know it's not anyone doing it.

JT rears do it, JK rears did it, (manual).
Thought maybe it was an engineered hot air venting release as it happens mostly in summer.

And responses from dealer representatives like this is why people don’t trust them.
What a BS answer to your issue.
