Seat Covers for Leather Interior WICKED HOT in sun

Anyone recommend some seat covers that wont fry my skin? I plan to leave the jeep naked until fall. But holy shit do the leather seats get scorching hot. I need some covers. Looking around everything hoping someone has some recommendations. Thanks ahead of time

Cheap ass rc seat covers in my naked Mojave don’t give me any hassle. Cheapest junk on the market but they work great. Had mine a couple months and they still look new. Even sent a couple pieces in the wash and came out fine.

Covering your leather in a cover that retains moisture won't be good for the leather...
However, If you get those mesh bikini tops it will do wonders to keep the edge off of the heat. WAY cheaper than a set of covers, You can also opt for the classic towel seat cover. Way easier to deal with and won't keep the water caught inside the covers...

Yeah, I have cooked my ass a few times this summer. I started folding down the backseats and storing towels under the backseat to cover the front seats if I couldn’t find a tree.

I did buy a waterproof dog blanket that is made for Gladiator / Wrangler backseats. While that was to transport the dog, I found that it doesn’t get hot. It has strips that go around the headrest to hold it in place. The problem is that I could already fold down the backseats. No good solution for the front still. LOL. I guess I could slide that cover up to the front?

I bought the Alien Sun Shade for front and back. Hopefully that should cut down some heat. We are going to be super sunny and hot the next few days in MN so it will be a good test

In addition to the sun shade have you thought about getting some seat towels that you can attach around the seat. They come in a variety of colors and are quite nice.

My Rubicon came with the leather seats and after about 15 minutes I’m sweat soaked from shoulders to knees. I’m looking for a set of factory cloth covers but no luck so far.

I live in the desert, temps here can run 110-115ª on really hard days, mostly around 95-100ª lately. Running a mesh topper makes all the difference IMHO.

On my Wrangler I had black Bartact covers over my leather seats and a SpiderWebshade, and was just fine all summer. Now on my Gladiator I'm still running the leather seats along with a JTopsUSA sunscreen, and no problems either. Thankfully I can wear shorts to work, so if I was going to get fried I'd feel it and I don't at all.

Get a sunshade before you get seat covers, see hot it goes.
