Should I have gotten the engine block heater?

Curious how much the block jester may be needed on this motor. Live in Northern Colorado (front range).

It may not be needed, but I always add the block heater when given the option. Just for personal comfort, if no other reason, to heat the cab up faster.

My block heater for my diesel just came in. Now I have to find time and good weather to install it.
