I'm looking at the Aliners very closely. It checks all of our boxes but my main concern is, how has it held up? The 12' models are just the right size for my wife and I, light weight, fresh water tank but no black water, stores in the garage, and enough room for me to stand up in.

Aliner build quality is about on par with any camper. It is hit or miss. Mine is a 2023 Scout. The wood veneer on the cabinets is paper thin. Everything is brad nailed together with little firring strips. I believe this is the same with all campers in this price range. There is definitely room for improvements and upgrading.

What I did look for when shopping. The floor is good quality. The undercarriage floor is waterproof. The seams and joints have quality caulk and/or weatherstripping. The countertop is nice and the cushion material are top quality.

The walls are made from the newer Azdel panels. I feel like it checked the right boxes and I found this one used last year for $12,500. A couple bought it and took it out for a weekend and brought it back and traded it in.

The front of the motor on this fella is about even with my knees, so (I hope) a full frontal collision wouldn't be too bad...

That said, this was a deer strike, same coach, a few years back.
Over $26k in damage.

A significant other with gastrointestinal issues precludes a trailer for us.

We was renting out our Discovery 40X diesel pusher. Had one renter back into a post on the right rear. Cracked the fiberglass just below the tail light. Bent the 2 compartment doors. $24,000 later it was fixed after 3 months of waiting. Had to wait on the doors. Good thing the insurance covered it.

Sport S Max Tow. Fully loaded with tanks full, just under 7,000 lbs (never plan to pull that way, was running test pull just in case). Unfortunately, after my trip to windrock in Tennessee, I arrived home to this

so, working with insurance now, if they total it (3 holes in slide roof, 3 holes in main roof, ac unit cracked, oh, and it stormed the whole time we were gone) we will be looking to downsize a bit (kids are getting older and busier so, usually just 3 of us instead of 5.

BTW, I’m in Indiana and never intended to pull it over the mountains or anything, nice fairly flat through Indiana and Michigan.

28 feet of enclosed space, just shy of 32 hitch to bumper. The picture was taken while I was taken it to and from the scales after fully loading and dumping and adjusting the WDH several times weighing in between. So, by all metrics (GVWR, GAWR, Trailer Tow Rating, etc...) everything is within spec... (not by a lot, but every number is under the max).

Casita's are great little trailers...what we wanted...but they are costly. We lucked on an R-Pod 153 that was only a year old but the previous owner had done some "creative changes" to the inside. We got it about $4k under value and with a weekend's work, it was up to snuff. I added dual batts and 235 mud tires. It has torsional axles, so a little more beefy than most little trailers, but no off-roader.

Fleetwood had to make a new front, "Bumper Cover," for me. Luckily they still had the molds!
Took 9 months before it was completely repaired.

Fleetwood had to make the 2 compartment doors for mine. The MH was a 2009 my. The one repair shop wanted to replace the whole rear section. That was $14,000 by it's self. We took someplace else and it was still $$$$
