Cricket Trailer by Taxa. 1500 lbs dry. Had it for 10 years now, hundreds of trips including this one from VA to CO. Been a great set up.

I've been eyeing the Cricket a bit. About what kind of gas mileage do you get with it? It looks pretty streamlined. My current trailer (about 3500 lbs loaded and a huge frontal area) gets 8-11 mpg depending on terrain, wind, etc.

Without Cricket 18 summer 16 winter, local trips towing Cricket about 14-16 summer 12-14 winter, long distance VA to CO about 10-12 this summer running about 75 through MO, KS, CO. Let me know if you have other questions.

I really like the look of the AS behind the white JT with the ARE camper as that's what I have. I just think about crosswinds . The AS look great but the inside is odd on many of them.

Yes, some of them are "odd" indeed... particularly the "bunkhouse" and 30' front bedroom/rear bath models. Some of the shorter single axle trailers are a little different too. The 23' however is laid out and appointed well. Unfortunately, MINE suffered a structural failure on the way home from our last trip. The entire overhead cabinet over the dinette failed and fell, crashing onto the dinette making both un-usable. I just spent the past week going to the dealer in Ohio we bought it from. I had traded the trailer in on a 27 FB over the phone from Santa Fe NM on Weds July 17th, bought a truck to pull the new trailer with in Santa Fe on the 18th (kept the Gladiator though) and the cabinet fell on the way home somewhere between Gladstone NM and Guymon OK on Friday the 19th.

We have the new trailer now. It was sad to leave the 23' at the dealership, as I really liked the Gladiator/Globetrotter combination, but my wife has had both hips and a knee replaced and after three and a half weeks on the road, crawling over the east-west bed just wasn't working. The 27' FB has a north-south bed arrangement that is much better for her... so the Gladiator's trailer towing days are largely behind it.

This is the only picture I have pulling my V-Nose camper. It has 2 slides and weighs around 5,500#
I was on a hump at the dump station at Davy Crocket birthplace state park.
