I really like the Ace sliders but I'm going to wait for some kind of sale.

How hard was that to install? I had one on my JKU (that my wife didn't end up using) and it was a PITA to install. Very well could have been an ID Ten T error on my part though. Looking for something for my new Mojave. She has already said it is tougher to get into and I'm planning on bigger tires soon.

Well it was a pain the first time I tried. I didn't think it would fit... then posted a question here and someone showed me how they installed their using zip ties to hold the bracket folded in place)...
Tried again and it went in w/o issues!

You just have to loosen the rail bolts (install suggest only loosening the one you are sliding the step on, but I ended up loosening the others, didn't take very long - 3 bolts per brackets, 4 brackets = 12 bolts to loosen at most, all easily accessible).

So IF I had properly folded the bracket with zip ties (which I won't lie is a bit of a pain), I probably could have installed it in less than 30min (if you're doing 4 I would say around an hour as it shouldn't take much longer since the rail will already be loose at that point).

I did just one since they aren't cheap and I don't really need one for myself (I'm 6'1, wife is 4'9!).

Anybody know if there is anything like some of the first few samples but flat?

I'm looking for something too but need something for my dog and that his paw wouldn't slip through.

Something about the weird angle that he has to jump in makes him yeet himself into the seat and fall off backwards and trying to figure out if steps or vet bills are cheaper. Something that fits around the sliders too

Yowza, I bought mine on sale in 2019 for $550 + tax and free shipping
I pulled them off my ‘20 Sport S before I traded it in 2 weeks ago. I just had them stripped and powder coated to match the stock rock rails on my new Mojave, now I just need to install them.
Holy shit did those go up in price!
