Skyjacker vs Rough Country Level

2022 Rubicon all stock right now minus front bumper and winch. Want to add a leveling kit amd was looking at the rough country 2 1/2 kit with .75 daystar rear spacers or going with the 2 1/2 skyjacker kit that includes a 1" rear spacer. The first option prices out at $145 while the skyjacker is $375. To me they seem identical is there a positive to either to justify the cost difference? This jeep will become my daily driver next year when my daughter starts driving and takes my civic ? Im going to be putting 35s on it at somepoint, any wheeling would be minimal. Any input between the two is appreciated, besides having the alignment checked afterwards I shouldnt need anything else correct?

I just installed the 2.5" Skyjacker on my Mojave. No complaints at all about the kit. Easy to install. Clears 37s easily. I also installed Rough Country LCA brackets and adjustable track bar. I only wanted the 1" in rear, I'm not a fan of the factory rake look

Thanks, did you feel it needed the brackets and adjustable track bar? Any pictures?

2 1/2 is minimal, I didn’t put a track bar or lca brackets on mine. Still drives like stock. I knew I would be lifting in the future so I just utilized the cheapest spacers I could find. I purchased the rear 3/4” spacers but ended up not using them as the truck sat very level with 2.5 in the front. More than enough for 37s to clear for daily driving and light to moderate trails.

If you go with the spring lift variant of the RC 2.5”, then I recommend getting a bigger rear lift than .75”. Mine has it and is pictured below with the .75” (first picture) and the 1-3/8” Icon spacer (second pic)

Im just looking at the 2.5 spacer lift. The skyjacker worth the extra price?

The Mojave has a great ride from the factory and I feel like the ride is the same after the lift. The Mojave specific lift goes for $350-375 plus $100 for the RC relocation brackets. Easy to install and well worth it in my opinion.
The pictures posted are without any rear lift. Just haven't had time to install yet

I’m in the same boat!! I’ve looked at both kits and also jus doin a complete 3.5 rough country lift on my rubicon. What’s the best option. I don’t want it to sit low in the rear if the rc 2.5 is perfect to level it. I’ll go with that

What size tires are those in your pics? I have a 21 Willys Sport and this is the exact lift setup I was looking at installing along with the Mopar longer LCAs up front and an adjustable track bar up front as well. I currently have Rubicon take off rims with the 33" Wildpeakes.

In both pics the tires are 315/70/17 Kenda Klevar AT.

I ran the 2.5" SJ spacer kit up front for a while, and I did because of HOW it was mounted, under the spring, not on top. It did its job and I used the Jeep for Jeep stuff.

It was actually shown under a JL but worked great and was very cost effective. My buddy that owns a Jeep shop, also recommended it if I was going to go that route.

Did you net more than 2.5" in the front with the springs and has it settled any? I had the 2.5" spacers on my 2020 but looking to go with either the 2.5" or 3.5" springs on my 2023 as the spacer wasn't enough lift for me.

I used to have the gains written down but lost them. I can definitely say I gained more that 2.5” with the springs up front. Quite certain it was just over a 3” gain after the initial settle (2-3 weeks after install).

As far as settling after that initial stage, visually, I haven’t noticed any additional. I’m very satisfied with the springs but I will be going up to 3.5” springs in the next year or so. I’d say if you’re even thinking about 3.5”springs and/or 37s+, then just go with the bigger springs. Just my 2 cents
