I carry 1 quart diff fluid, 1 quart atf, 1 quart oil, 1 power steering, 1 brake, and A fuel injector cleaner. Just enough to help if I spring a leak anywhere. ATF is used in the transfercase. When I go for a several day long trip I try to have a small grease gun too.

Yes the topper is homemade.... out of a 1970's topper that was trashed and bent. It was the right width, had to be chopped on length, door had to be trimmed for tailgate. I have continued to buy and build stuff for the topper. About 600 dollars into it.

I have the same tent, I got it through Softopper which does include the poles you need. The Amazon version (not sure about the link from Black Widow) doesn't include poles, it just drapes over a the door that opens up.

Not sure.. I got mube from Softtoper has well. I currently don't have the softopper anymore. I went with ARE hard topper. The DAC tent works well with it also. Not sure I'll use the DAC much as I have a Gazelle T4 tent, a trailer, rtt.

I just e-mailed with Dac. The tent does not come with poles. I ordered anyway as they are in stock and shipping tomorrow. The one from softtopper will take 3 or 4 weeks.
It wont be difficult to rustle up a simple bow support.

Yes the shipping to Arizona is very cheep. We mailed some packages to my daughter up in Anchorage yesterday and I was shocked at the cost. 2 small boxes cost almost $100.00.

Some great solutions on here. I wanted a fast and simple way to sleep in the bed with a little more room. The older I get the less I like all the expensive gadgets. Now I need a simple set of cross bars to mount my awning.
