Arcus has a quarter inch thick winch plate that uses the 8 bumper mounting positions plus the two on the sides. Check the specs on other winch plates before making your decision.

can i run my stock orange tow hooks with the arcus to save weight? The RR website instructions for the arcus make it look possible.Rock Hard aluminum is light. Rugged Ridge arcus is also light, about the same (around 35-38 lb. each, without the arcus hooks). For the winch, use synthetic rope and don't go overboard on hook or other attachment weight. Aluminum hawse is lighter than the roller fairlead by about 8 lb. Replace the huge and heavy (over 20 lb) arcus hooks with the recovery point attachments for the XHD bumper on a JK (9 lb). You can pull the weight penalty down to about 70 lb, over the stock plastic bumper that way, and get minimal front end sag and little change in bounce on potholes, etc.
Hmm, I think I'll run the MP aluminum and Mojave springs. thx for your helpno, the stock tow hooks won't work with the Arcus. If you want to save 11 pounds from the very front, which has the most leverage on the suspension, use the Rugged Ridge rings for the XHD bumper, or you will save somewhat less by cutting off some of the Arcus hooks which are massive and made of 1" steel. Cutting the Arcus hooks means effort with a chop saw or acetylene torch, and the XHD rings are close to the bumper facing so you will have to cut off the nearby bulges in the facing, which is easy with a sawzall.
Thanks for the post. Do the weights you mention include the winch mounting plate too? I like the bumper, but have the Warn winch plate already which weighs 35lbs on it's own so I'm trying to stay as light as my plastic bumper setup. ThanksI have the MP Concepts aluminum bumper. Plastic bumper weighed 35 lbs coming off; MPc weighed about the same going on (39 lbs with winch fairlead and fog lights - around 37 lbs without the fairlead? 32 bare metal with no brackets or fog lights). The end caps definitely come off. Design is exactly the same as the Mopar steel and works the same.
No, not included - the MPc winch plate is an extra 23 lbs but I definitely do not recommend using it. After I bent mine, it went in scrap metal and got replaced with a Grimm Offroad plate. Your Warn looks properly built for the job, I'd run that.Do the weights you mention include the winch mounting plate too? (But just FYI, if you really want to count grams, the Grimm plate is 20.14 lbs.)
I have one of those bumpers. The one I got I ordered through eBay. It's been on the Jeep since October been through winter and so far no signs of rust anywhere. Luck of the draw I suppose. They are well built and beefy. The O.E steel can be run as a stubby. There are cheaper versions available online for like $489.00 with a winch plate. The finish will not last so I would paint / bed line for longevity. This version is Aluminum which may be lighter? Never did find a weight for it when I was looking.
