Nasty fraud!

We have a zeon 12-s in our factory steel bumper with a warn winch plate on our Gladiator. It’s a tight fit, but it works.

My wife’s Wrangler has the steel cable version in an otherwise identical setup, but IMO it’s too heavy without a lift kit. Make sure you also get a roller fairlead if you go this way.

Note also with the steel cable, we had to grind the fairlead plate and bumper metal to prevent abrasion. No such issue with the Hawse fairlead and synthetic line.

Was it that FAKE site with really hot deals? IT'S a SCAM!

Looks like others are mentioning it above.
I just got rattled when I saw the first post.

I see that Warn winches are on sale and wondering what is a good one that will fit the factory steel bumper with no issues.

To be honest, if I was the OP I think I would just delete the entire thread and start from scratch. Not a lot of value to be had in this one at this point. Every time someone responds (like I just did) it's gonna move it back to the trending list and confuse folks.

Already tried. Unless I am mot seeing something the only thing it will let me do is edit. I didn't see a delete option.

When you see chainsaws, generators or winches steeply discounted, it is a scam!
No one is giving anything of value away for 10 cents on the dollar. They want you to enter your credit card number, before you realize it is a scam. Don’t go for it… scammers are scum of the earth.

Warn makes a hawse fairlead for their steel cabled winches. Before synthetic was a thing, the hawse fairlead was standard and the roller was actually an upgrade on most of the winches Warn sold.
My XD9000 served me well for 30 years with steel cable and a hawse fairlead. On my new VR Evo 10, replaced the roller fairlead with a hawse fairlead. I like it tucked in tighter than the roller does.
You just need to make sure the hawse fairlead is rated for steel cable. Both mine are made of cast iron, both are from Warn.

Admins are not really around unless you tag them or report a post/thread

Ahhhhhh, Gotcha!
Yeah, there is no real in time or resident moderation around here. There was one guy I recall maybe 6 years ago for a hot minute but you have to use the report or tag function if you see something that has gone sideways.
