Another one of these guys jumped on my trailer somehow when I drove by it. Now my 1943 Ford GPW (last picture) won’t feel lonely in the barn and I don’t have to explain it’s a Ford. This girl is a 1944 Willys MB and is a Jeep! SoCal restoration. Not all original but all correct. The Jeep disease gets worse. But now my wife has a classic to roll in parades with me. I wish the GPW and this guy would fit on the trailer. Truck could handle it easily4000 lbs total as it sits in the picture. The MB and GPW weight about 2000 lbs each. Trailer 2000. We’ll under 7600 lbs. Brakes on both axles on the trailer.

2022 NOBO 19.3 -4700-4800 loaded. 37s with 4.88s. Jeep pulled it with no issues and maintained 70+mph with foothills driving.
Using WDH and anti sway Hitch

you all get to tow cool toys - I feel like Charlie Brown, "all I got was a rock", 3 yards of driveway base. The Gladiator handled it well, my trailer I thought was going to split in half! No pics just glad I made it to the house!!

I'll tow our 1955 M38A1 once or twice a year to shows that back roads aren't available or are simply too far away.

Outstanding restoration on your M38. Have you noted MPG you get towing it? I been telling my wife we need “Ma Duece“ on either on the MB. Maybe someday.

Drove 270 mile round trip towing 4500 pounds to and from a car show. The truck drove great; I got 17 mpg going one way, 16.7 going back.

After being on a wait list for months, I snagged the first 2023 Ember 191 MDB here in British Columbia, Canada. Just took delivery today. Tows like a dream. Suspension is a true independent overland thing of beauty. Electric Jack is horizontal allowing the tailgate to be down if one wants. Love this unit, absolute beast.

Dry weight 4670lbs, tongue 680lbs, I have WDH, Tekonsha Brake controller. Set correctly, balanced, drives straight, no wandering, and feels planted. Very happy with first drive.

Rig pulls well for heavy 37’s, but I’m sure I’ll do gears sooner than later. 513’s for me. Then proper breakin and it will be ready for spring towing.

I freaking LOVE those trailers! I do have a question, though: does that heavy hitch weight cause any problems? You're within 20# of your limit without anything in the coach -- do you notice any impact (e.g., sagging)?

Without the WDH hooked up it did sag, but not horribly, that being said, I would not run any trailer above 3500lbs without a WDH.
I had to adjust the tongue height to get the correct geometry for the WDH, but then it was perfect.

Like I said it drives beautifully with the WDH. As you can see, there’s almost zero sag with current setup. Trailer tows great.
