@Elff Let us know which two they are so we can keep spares. I've never blown any fuses as yet and wouldn't want to while traveling.

they are 20amp fuses which are yellow, but they are the most narrow fuses.
I believe they are 107 and 109 but would have to pop the fuse cover again to check. They are close to the Passenger side of the fusebox, vs the middle of the engine bay side.

So it was the fuse which is a little startling.

Just did a nice tow with the JTRD, probably 4-4500lbs. Was relatively flat across NC, but a good run. Little bit of crosswind, but was pretty stable tow. I did keep the cruise control around 65mph. MPG was around 16.7mpg for a 75mile tow.

I’m posting this up here as my thread is going to be primarily focused on the eco diesel towing. I installed a bypass filter kit with in-line cooler to help with oil temps under heavy load aka towing my travel trailer. I’ll be tracking and posting up my findings for any of you diesel guys looking to cool that oil! I personally never had a derate issue so this is just for science / community information.
I have a rather long for me trip coming in a couple weeks and will track and post up my experience with it at the fallowing link!!

I wonder what they did to keep it that lite ??
My 19 footer is 4200 dry that’s 1000 lbs difference!! The single axel saves weight for sure but having 4 tires on the rd is nice.
That’s a sharp looking rig enjoy!!

Waiting on our Sport S with max tow to come in. We are looking at the 23RSS in the vista cruiser. It's 3ft longer, about 700 lb more dry weight, and slighly heavier hitch weight but excited to see someone towing a vista cruiser since we are interested in that line.

What kind of mpg have you got towing it?

We got terrible mileage with it , but did do Killington ski resort hill, and a lot of hills with real high winds the whole way, 11.5MPG, but I assume we will get better with out the wind it was brutal.
Also looking at the tires they were load range C with 1870lb. capacity, was not comfortable with that so replaced all three tires with load range D at 2200 lbs. each, I think the tires not being bulged out a bit might also help the tow. Blue Ox sway pro hitch worked great, was not set up by me perfectly but it was only a 6.5 hour drive, going to set it up better before heading out camping next month. If I get 12.5- 13 towing that would be great, and I think I will.
Vista Crusiers are pretty neat very light weight campers, mine is 23' long, has rear dinette with windows all around and walk around queen bed., and any weight savings when towing with a six cylinder is important. Mojave towed it fine, no power issues anytime, I did the manual shift thing at times
I did learn something when looking at dry weight of a camper from factory, you will never hit that number if you get the common A/C option, awning or also the gas grill and bracket that was with ours, the factory dry listed weight of our 2016 ERD 19 is 2875 , but we are at 3140 pounds, which sounds about right for the added options........Jack

2019 Airstream Basecamp 16X

Weighed #3,152 with all camping gear, food, full propane (2 – 20 lb. steel tanks), and water tank (21 gallons).

Picked it up last week from a private seller in El Ceritto, CA. 1,628 mostly highway miles with multiple mountain passes back to Denver. MPG was between 17-20, I’m assuming California diesel wasn’t the winter blend because I got much better MPG when filling up out there. I use 1 shot of HotShots each fill-up.

Haven’t got a chance to actually use it yet, I have the max tow and this trailer is about 2000lbs dry, I also just put in the Mopar trailer brake controller. It’s my first time pulling a trailer this small, I am a electrician and pull a 18ft work trailer everyday, these little trailers are very twitchy haha.
