Can't wait to see what they did with the styling on the bed. I wonder if its going to read Jeep across the back? I certainly hope so it was one of my favorite parts of my Comanche.

Beefy looking. I dig it.

Possibly just sticking with traditional emblems vs an embossed gate. Keeps cost down I'd imagine. Should still look great. :D

Certainly might be the direction they go. They did say for one of the concept Jeep's a few years back that stamping the tailgates is difficult to get right. In the handle I spy a lock cylinder on the right side and possibly the opening for where the reverse camera will go on the left? Maybe similar to the Dodge setup below?

I'd say for cost savings and reuse of parts, that's probably the exact item they are going to use. Why recreate the wheel when you have tons of them sitting around already for a different production. And its already tested and works with the UConnect system going into the JL's.

Exactly my thinking. Parts bin sharing between brands isn't uncommon. Keeps the engineering and design costs down.

Jeep Gladiator Spied: JT Jeep Gladiator Pickup tailgate comes into better view 54900453-0694-45DF-A005-D7E0F255B8A9 There’s an apparent interesting curvature above the handle. It kind of has an arc down to the handle on each side. Additionally, why does it appear that the right side of the tailgate is taller than the left. I would think that it would appear opposite given the angle of the photo...

Not seeing the misalignment you mention but these ARE prototypes so they definitely won't be up to the quality (lol FCA) of production models.

The top body line probably meshes up really nicely with the side body line we already know exists on JLs.

hmmm.."quality (LOL FCA)..." remember when so many first year of the last model new grand cherokees had completely misaligned rear hatch doors? Water was leaking in like a storm surge. Their excuse was they were supposed to be re-checked at each dealership or something like that. B as in B_ _ _ and S as in S_ _ _!
