2022 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon
Hello, Looking to upgrade the Tie rod / Drag link on my 2022 Gladiator Rubicon, it's the only peice I havent done yet. Currently i'm using a FOX ATS 2.0 steering stabilizer in the stock location.

I have a 5" Backspace 17x9 +1 offset wheel on 38" Nitto Ridge Grapplers.

Currently, RPM and APEX say their new TRE's work with a 5" backspacing, I also like the fact that i can get an original location stabilizer mount with the eyelet on the TRE and the bracket on the axle though I don't really like the jam nut TRE design as I hear they loosen, i'd prefer a clamp. And I keep hearing about their TRE's breaking as they don't sit deep enough in the rod.

Rock Krawler requires a 4.5" wheel backspacing supposedly to fit their TRE's. Sucks.

YETI has clamps instead of jam nuts which I like, less chance of them coming loose though you have to finagle them to make sure they don't bump anything else.

Any other thoughts? Just looking to stiffen up the steering.

I am looking at Fusion4x4. Looks like the TR will fit about every wheel. Do you think this will help anything in steering or is this bling?

I talked with apex at jeep invasion and they addressed a lot of your concerns with the new tie rod ends. They also use what they call a ninja washer that once you have the steering set where you want you bend the tabs over the nut and bar and it keeps it from backing off. I run the rpm setup that use the newer apex joints and picked up a set of the washers from apex.

Does anyone really notice a change with the new Aluminum TR and DL sets?

There’s a lot of movement in the factory ones. Especially moving larger tires. I hear it clears up the slop a lot where you can wiggle the steering wheel back and forth without moving the tires. The dead space is just play in the steering.

I was going to suggest Synergy but your back space is too much.
