Actually I did get a quality product and I also get good service from the dealership.
That's how I feel. I have no complaints about my 2023 Rubicon diesel. I've not been to the dealership, but they did give me a 7 year/100,000-mile bumper to bumper warranty for $300 over their cost. I thought was a fair deal. The Jeep Wave program offered two free oil changes over the next two years, which is better than nothing.

Me too, No major issues with my 2023 Glad freedom. So far so good. I love the 3.6 and the auto trans. Last summer I used it on the beach about 3 times a week, 4 x 4 worked great.

Yet we all bought one!
yup! It’s my first vehicle purchase. Personally I haven’t had issues except rear window replacement (knock on wood) but the stories I’ve heard on here and from friends paint a not so grea lt picture

It’s the right time to buy and I feel I got my ‘23 gladiator rubicon in August for a steal at $40K plus t tax with a sticker of $61K.
hell, my other jeep is a 2015 wrangler rubicon which I bought almost ten years ago for $34.8K plus tax sticker $40K.
i see much better value in my gladiator vs. my wrangler
I Just got a 2024 Rubicon X for $$52k OTD. I got lucky

Stellantis does for sure suck. But we all need to revolt when the average new car price is now $50k. Time to actually retain our cars and fix them when issues crop up instead of buying new vehicles every few years.

According to the most recent 2024 statistics, the average American is now keeping their vehicle for a record 12.6 years.

Part of the great expense of these new vehicles is from their engineering/design partner...the Government......

PS - the Gladiator Rubicon is FAR superior to the Tacoma TRD OR in every way.
I have a Mojave and a '23 Tacoma TRD OR work truck. The latter is a POS. Serious - I hate it. Terminally confused transmission, weak engine, somehow the Bilstein's suck, terrible interior, terrible infotainment.... I can go on and on and on.

Yes, but is it a highly reliable and long-lasting vehicle? Is it affordable to repair? I think there's a big gap in what consumers want/expect from a truck. For some, they don't care about power, superior ride comfort, or create comforts. Instead, they just want reliability and affordability.

So far:

1. Welding slag on axle tube, recall. It was affected.
2. AC sealed system fail - total replacement

12k miles.

Hopefully that will be the end to your problems. Out of curiosity, why did you choose the Tacoma as your work truck instead of the Ranger, Canyon/Colorado, etc.?

I didn't choose it. It's company owned, the boss bought what was available at the time.

Production seems pretty solid to me 🤷‍♂️

Gladiator is built at Toledo Supplier Park
