Can someone provide a Amazon link for some good material to stuff the sound bar with?

I only want to open it one time. I have the Terra Acoustics for the dash. I'm going to put the Kenwoods I originally bought for the dash in the sound bar. That should be a sufficient audio upgrade for me.

I am putting in a new JL amplifier along with new speakers. I have the Alpine system upgrade. I am told that I will need the PAC AmpPRO AP4-CH41 Aftermarket Amplifier Interface. That much is clear. The question is whether another harness is needed and I cant get a clear answer on this. Do I also need either the PAC APH-CH42 AmpPro Harness or the PAC APH-CH01 AmpPro Harness? Getting a bit confused here. Thanks

This gets more confusing. Crutchfield shows that, what is also compatible in regards to adding an amplifier when you already have the Alpine upgrade, is a Rockford Fosgate DSR1 used in conjunction with an i Datalink HRN-AR-CH4. Crutchfield is at a bit of a loss as to what actually will work because they cant find any shcematics or pictures of the wiring for the 2024 with the 12 inch screen. This is getting way over my head and if Crutchfiled is a bit stumped I am not sure any local installer is going to know better

I am doing something similar, but I’m also putting in a new amplifier and that’s where things seem to be getting very tricky

it’s ok, your local installer is probably not using crutchfield for its resources anyways. I can’t remember the last time I referred to them for anything in the last decade or two.

I changed the equalizer setting on my iPhone and Android phone, which greatly improved my Alpine system. Cost=$0.

Any type of filler like that will work perfect. Craft stores, Wally World, everyone carries them.

You did this on a 2024? My 2024 sound bar grille is not compatible with the grilles on the MB Quart. The 2024 grill also has the map light built into it

You're going to run into this problem for a while. You can either be part of the experimentation, or wait until the 2024 changes are documented and adjusted for.

Did you modify the factory grill because of the integrated maplight?

21 JTRD with the Alpine sound system... I replaced the dash and overhead speakers with 4 Kenwood KFC-X3Cs and poly-filled the sound bar. Night and day difference for $250.

Sounds really good now, not hollow at all. Of course it all depends on your music needs... the 8" sub works great for me, but if you're into rap or things like that it's not that good.
