I guess your trip computer lies then? 435 miles driven over 10:45 minutes of run time is right at... 40mph average because math. 40.46mph to be exact.

I guess if you go that route, then ya.
But that doesn't tell the real story.
I'd bet that if I didn't have the around town, stop and go, it be even better.

Filled my F250 work truck up today. $202.00. Last week at the same station was $143.00. I fill it up at 1/4 left in the tank.

It’s not the first time I’ve seen outrageous gas prices in Cali. My buddy has a diesel Rubi and he doesn’t seem to care. Here in CA our gas tax helps pay for road maintenance but the roads are still shit so it is what it is. All you can do is hope they come back down sooner than later.

That's some of the biggest bs lies the state has people believing. NY said the same thing regarding the Thruway (toll road) back in the 70s, we're still being taxed for it, and paying tolls WITH THEIR OWN TAXES ADDED ON, and STILL not having it or other roads fixed correctly or in a timely manner (1x every 5-15 years, and still fails by the end of winter the same year). Same with the Erie Canal, they charge out the ass, yet never keep the bridges over it maintained/safe (one bridge near Fairport NY had a hole in the West side main girder SO BIG YOU COULD WALK A 250-300LBS PERSON THROUGH IT), took them 7 years to PATCH the hole with a steel plate.


Also, I paid 3.76/gal 3 days ago for 87oct.

Glad I have a 500 gal tank that I topped off few months ago with $3.43 diesel. Hoping it lasts me till this insanity is over. Wifes Q7 takes premium, gets 24-26mpg and its $6 here, have 2ea 55 gal drum's that I filled for $4.20 but thats not going to last...
