Stolen Hardtop

Some Nice person stole the hardtop off my 2023 Gladiator while parked at Port Aransas, TX yesterday. If you see a top pop up on Facebook marketplace or offer up in Corpus Christine or the surrounding area—don’t buy it. The back window leaked like a sieve and the center defroster didn’t work. I haven’t had the chance to get the warranty work performed.

I hope these idiots get their due. Stole the bolts with the top but not the freedom panels—moronic at best.

Sorry man. Bizarre. My brand new 2023 / bought in 2024 came with used freedom panels which I didn't notice till later - but at least that was more discreet!

Yeah, I would be a horrible hardtop thief. Takes me forever, even with the quick release thumb screws.

Also, how the hell do you get it off without taking the freedom panels as well? I didn't even know that was possible.

At least you don't have to hassle with the dealer and a warranty claim. Now you can have the insurance buy you a new top.

Sounds like he had the freedom panels off on a beautiful day when he parked parked the JT. Would explain why they only took the back part of the hard top and not the freedom panels as well.

I hate to hear that it was stolen, but insurance should cover the top.

This is insane. Sorry to hear. Lots of theft popping up on here lately. I hope it gets recovered. It's not like it can be used on anything other than a Gladiator. I wonder if it was a gladiator owner who didn't want to buy a new one.

I hope it rains one them and it leaks inside their truck and i hope yours is in a safe place to stay dry.

On a side note, My back glass was replaced about 18 months ago and still leaks but now its out of warranty. Seems so simple, why can't they make the back glas not leak?
