Did you have a shake at idle? And if you did, did it smooth it out?
I had a very rumble but it wasn’t really noticeable unlessI focused on it. Haven’t driven the car enough to see if it has improved. I will report back

I got the pcm flash yesterday. It seems to have cleared up the rough idle for now. They said this latest flash came out last month or the month before, and they haven't had anybody return yet with the misfire issue after this flash. We'll see

That is how mine went. CEL return is inevitable.

In my opinion, there is no fix for this problem short of a new engine or a brand new vehicle. This thread has 82 pages, and no one has yet reported that there is a long term fix for the problem via parts replacement or computer flash. I am very disappointed in Jeep.
Wrong - a couple of owners HAVE reported their trucks fixed without a total engine or truck swap........

Thats good to hear, but I still feel my truck shaking. And not a consistent shake....

I went in for my oil change and tire rotation and they said if I was due for the PCM flash update and they went ahead and did it. I wasn’t even aware of the issues
I had NO ENGINE ISSUES at all - no misfire, no codes, nothing - and they looked up my VIN when I went in for the tire rotate and oil change Wave thing - they said I had a PCM flash coming based on my VIN.
WOW, did it change how it behaved! Engine still runs great but it holds gears a lot longer, stays out of 8th a lot more, I only see 8th on long level stretches above 50 now, less transmission hunting, etc.
MUCH lower MPG - went from 22-23 down to 17-18 for now, but it's zippy.

That’s just an abbreviation for a “Alyssa Milano” misfire.

Took my truck in for Steering Gear and Tonneau Cover. Also have had start/stop warning come up in the info center several times. On the way the auto start light came on so I showed this to the Write up Advisor and told him about occasional cold start misfire. They took care of the Steering Gear(that Jeep Cares had to get involved with). Thank you Jeep Cares!. They had ordered the wrong Tonneau so I have to take it back for the 3rd time for this, and of course, stated "on codes could not duplicate" so of course they didn't do anything with the start/stop problem. So frustrating I have to take it in 2 or 3 times to get anything fixed.

My Gladiator has been to the dealer 3 times and for over 20 days. I am on my 4th trip. Supposedly they are going to replace the cams etc. I did request a compression check so I have it documented, and I believe that this been escalated within the Jeep customer service system. I have not heard from anyone since doing so, (just a couple of days). I am going to start the process of hopefully, a new gladiator, and give this an other shot. I believe there are about 10 on this forum that have been given the green light on a buy back/new Gladiator. I would be really curious on how that has gone. I know 'GIJohn' is getting tortured in the process, did not know if others are having the same experience.
I am trying to remove my perception out of "potential" facts. We have over a 128 with this issue. Supposedly there have been 40k units sold. Let say 1% is an acceptable defective rate, that would be 400 units. So I am hopeful that I can get a good unit...??
Please do not get me wrong, I am as frustrated as everyone else with my initial Gladiator experience

Heading back in for 3rd time. First was the update. 2nd they say they found bad gas and charged me for a fuel system clean out. It made it 2 days before the CES went to flashing again and set a P0300 pending. Talked to the service manager this morning and he wants it back in as soon as he can get me something to drive. I have been using Jscan to monitor all the cylinders and 1,3 and 5 missfires are in the hundreds while 2,4 and 6 are less than 5 for even a short trip

So according to FCA my buyback check was processed today. Any of y’all have experience in how long it takes for them to actually meet and transfer the car back into thier possession?

How long ago did you sign paperwork to accept buyback offer?

20 days ago today. The check is supposedly ready and just needs to be sent out. So I guess the technical term is I’m waiting on the disposition team to schedule a closing.
