Good Evening I am currently running a T&S Oil Catch can currently have over 2500 miles with it on, zero issues no CEL. This post is more of an FYI for anyone on the fence about it. I know I couldn't find much info on them. I have a 2023 JTRD. I went with the orange color to add a little pop to the engine bay. Really nice Quality everything lines up pretty well. mounting bracket is great. Draining is a little pain but nothing to crazy if your this deep into your jeep.

Been running one for a while, works great. I don't get too much drained from it, but even that little is better than going into the turbo. You are correct, it is a bit of a pain to drain.

How often are you draining yours? Was told every oil change just to check it as an easy reminder.

Every oil change, which I do at 5000 miles. Honestly, I could do it every other oil change but worried I'll forget.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but don't the 3.6 Pentastar engines use Port Fuel Injection; which sprays the fuel into the intake manifold, washing the oil that does make it's way from the Crank case into the Intake manifold........ I can see having a Catch can on any DI (Direct Injection) engine, as the Chevy 5.3L v8 engines, preventing the oil from reaching the intake manifold and coking the intake valves.... but I don't see the positive on the Port Fuel Injection engines..... What is the upside here?

The upside is any oil caught is oil not getting burned. If not burned, then plugs, oxygen sensors and cats are cleaner. The system runs cleaner, more efficient and some may say a cleaner burn is more HP, how much,..🤷🏼. We can be sure that our port injection engines have clean valves (see attached pics of our valves @ 60k kms (37k miles) however, the blow-by oil is still washing into the cylinders to get burned.

My first 2021 3.6 was sending 150ml to the can every 3000 miles. My now 2023 3.6 sees 180ml in the can at the same distance. The catch can is a good thing to install, even if you’re on the fence, install one just to see for yourself.

Have one. Agree with all. Pain to drain. Otherwise never an issue.
