Guess I'm one of the few guys that still likes the ole whip antenna. Probably cause I'm also running a taller ham antenna.

Tazer, tazer, tazer. From sway bar disconnect at any speed, even in 2wd to the Jeep remembering that I want my traction control and start/stop off (ever hit a little mud, try to throttle through it, and have the dumb ass Jeep cut all power, exactly what you'd want if your goal was getting stuck), to front only locker or locker in 2wd if I feel like doing donuts. Necessary to make the Jeep do Jeep stuff.
To getting rid of the 3 honks.

i waited almost a year before adding a Tazer and wish I hadn’t. It does a lot of things but for me, getting rid of the 3 honks every time I get out to open or shut a gate, that alone was worth the cost. I also waited a too long, only a couple weeks, to install mud flaps. In two weeks the door hinges and rear fenders were already peppered with rock chips

For me it was getting the ceramic coating done and front Bartact seat covers to make it easier to clean, and then main priority was the Goose Gear rear delete in order to be able to fit more than 1 of my dogs in the back seat area lol. Then did wheels and 37's, then sold it before I got on to anything else but a lift and steering upgrades were on the docket.

@pvn.jt24 how hard are you thinking of wheeling your Gladiator?
I’m probably thinking about eventually wheeling it a good amount.

I’m going to do some research to build the Gladiator to be able to sit on 38s and possibly 40s.

I know it’s going to be a lot of parts, but if I can get some stuff for the 38s, maybe it’ll be able to carry over to the 40s.

Luckily though, it isn’t like IFS where mid-travel suspension can’t be used with long-travel suspension.

And the tent is a must for us!

I actually have a RTT waiting to be mounted. We bought it for the Tundra, but never got around to mounting it on…

Hopefully this year we can get a bed rack and mount the RTT onto it!

Looking for some Maine camping trips with my family.

We are in the south and use it for beach trips a lot. My wife hated the purchase at first, but likes it more than me now. Paid for itself after a couple trips…whole setup was around 3,000…a week at the beach in a house was same amount.

I haven't seen it yet, but ceramic window tint/UV block was one of the first, if not the actual first thing I did. Also, the gas struts for the hood. I got the redline ones as well. And the tazer for all of the wonderful features that help with minor annoyances that add up.

I agree. I live in Southern Utah and the summer is brutal so I went with ceramic tint including the windshield. Hoping it helps. My Tazer arrives today so I can correct for 37's that I put on Day two and were a necessity just to make the Gladiator look decent. Still needs a lift, but I don't want to mess with Mojave suspension yet.

If you want to wheel a lot, the Jeep will shine. I was asking mostly in relation to the factory sliders. If you are not mostly wheeling where there are a lot of rocks or boulders, they are actually pretty decent quality. The steel itself is good, and so is the coating (it is excellent). The mounts to the Jeep are the weaker points. So if you regularly rock crawl, get much better sliders.
