Oh, so you mean like suburban (assuming frame based)?

What mid-size suv is frame based other than wrangler?
Mid-size: Toyota 4Runner, Jeep Wrangler, Mercedes G-Wagon.

Full-size: Suburban/Tahoe and GMC/Cadillac variations. Ford Expedition/Lincoln Navigator. Toyota Sequoia and Land Cruiser. Nissan Armada. I think the Toyotas have Lexus equivalents and the Nissan has an Infinity twin.

4 runner
Rodeo/passport
Montero
Pathfinder
Only 4runner still exists (basically), Pathfinder, passport, and blazer are unibody now so they are dead in spirit.

Yeah a few that used to be body-on-frame are now unibody, like the Durango and Explorer.

I just saw this Ford Econoline pick em up parked at a local restaurant. Now this is a very old truck. Had a 3 on the T gear shifter. And check out the size of the bed on this thing. Looked like it was 3 feet deep. When was the last time you saw a pick up with chains on it to hold up the tailgate?

Outside the US most people who refer to trucks are referring to commercial trucks like MAN’s etc.
Everything else are just cars.

The French Canadian translation of truck is "camion" and it’s refering to real truck, Freightliner, Peterbilt, Mack, Kenworth, etc.

The pickup truck is called “camionnette” i.e. small truck...

*and here, too many guys and gals are mis-calling their SUV a Jeep... A sport-utility vehicle is not a Jeep... it’s a car! And a Jeep... is a Jeep!!!

This thread reminds me of a good friend of mine. He is a hard working farmer. He looses his cool when someone calls a lawn more a tractor.

I bust his chops all the time calling my Cub a combine :CWL:
I call my city boy buddy's Honda Civic a Honda lawnmower (because Honda makes lawnmowers) and he gets pissed when I do that. Also I tried convincing him to put a lift kit on it a couple times... that really pissed him off.
