Great looking Truck ! Congrats. I want to do the same mods to my front axle. I am wondering about the 300M RCV which is $500 more than the standard RCV. Which one did you go with ? Will the 300M RCV even fit ? I guess new seals and wheel bearings are needed ? Thanks for any info.

Thanks! I didn't do the 300M axles. I honestly didn't realize they existed until after I bought mine. I didn't have to change the seals or wheel bearings on mine though. The orange boots definitely sling a little grease.

Looks great! I am looking at the exact same upgrades. Did you find the balljoints and new steering linkage improved the steering/handling of the Jeep? TIA

The Jeep drives like a dream at the moment. Seems very solid and smooth and it was super easy to align. I'm really happy with the upgrades, but will note the axles are a greasy mess. Guess they are known for that.

Awesome, thanks! I had RCVs on my XJ and yea they can be a little messy. Guess its the price you pay for that sort of thing.

Ordered the new full-height XCAP from Stephen at @RebelOffRoad today. My first product from ROR and I'm excited to try it out. Will post install pics when it comes in.

Well, the install didn't go as planned. Lots of missing and wrong parts. Bugged that I didn't verify everything was there before starting the install. ??‍♂

Could you get a photo of the RCVs and the grease sling? I'm curious how much that's going to bother me. The strength and smooth turning sure is appealing though.

Folks go ape shit over Gator. WIth its popularity, why don't they bring it back? Love my Hydro Blue Pearl so it would have been a tough choice if they had offered Gator when I ordered mine. At least it made it an easy choice for me.

I love it. It looks totally different in the light vs shade.

I’ll get you some. It’s bad at first, but I pressure washed them when they got super gooped up and then grease them every other oil change and it’s tolerable.

Here you go! I live on a dirt road so she’s a little dirty.

Thanks for posting that up. That will annoy me but I'm trending towards buying them. The piece of mind and smooth steering on the trail seems like a worthy trade off. Especially on a 38.
