Do they actually give you a bound book, or that’s another thing that’s gone by the 21st century wayside?

The manual was in a green drawstring bag in the glove box.

Mine came with a real book in a nifty little green drawstring bag. I figured in 50 years I can sell it on eBay for a couple hundred bucks.

It'll probably be classified as a rare book.

Y’all are smug and all, but there is zero reason that someone who works in an unrelated industry would read a user manual cover-to-cover. But thank you for smarmily degrading those who were happy to learn of a feature which is neat. It doesn’t push other forum members into feeling that asking questions or sharing excitement will result in being belittled, at all. Definitely not.

And no, I haven’t towed, so haven’t needed to look in that section of a manual.

Personally, I read the two manuals cover to cover, it was worth it....

Nevertheless, reading is one thing, doing is another. Good to get the basics from the manual, but for many things I read about, until I got in the truck and "played" with them it wasn't fully "metabolized.

But even after doing both, I still had some questions.

For me, the 3 modes (read, do, Q&A) go hand in hand.

There used to be a link available to order a complete owner's manual that they would ship to you at no additional charge. I got one around September of 2019.

And yet another discovery. This knob allows you to scroll through clickable things on your touch screen. Noticed it when I accidentally bumped it. I don't honestly think I've ever touched that knob for anything. I usually use the steering wheel controls.

Yes, this thing does way more than my crank window ole pick-em-up. I re-discover stuff all the time. Read the manual cover to cover, but it didn't all apply the day I read it; so it did not purchase much space in my gray matter. I am lucky if I can remember that I even saw something about it.

Is it just me or do NONE of the owners manuals ever make logical sense as to where they put info?

Mine works just fine. Have it replaced under warranty.

Thirteen months and over 13k miles and this morning I noticed for the first time ""Since 1941" pops up where the gear indicator by the tach is at start up.

Reminded me of a few months ago just noticing that when you change the climate controls the little icon on the display changes depending on where you have the air flowing.

Yeah I'm real observant. LOL

No one has mentioned the imprinted flip flops on the passenger side wiper cover.
