Not possible on a 2020 JT 3.6 AT with those heavy tires, a 2.5” lift and a winch.
I do not know why or how, but it is. I am not the original owner. Maybe he re-geared it, but dealership said he did not as far as they know. He did do a lot of nice upgrades. This is from this past weekend. I did have two round trips from south of Atlanta airport to Tuscaloosa. I am usually around 18.5 average. The trip back was following a loaded U-Haul truck carrying my daughter's car. I stayed around 55 to 60. I have checked the speedo with GPS and Garmin. The speedo is off 2 MPH at 80 MPH. I drive like an old man. I have had lifted full sized trucks since 2006 and drive them to try and obtain the best fuel economy possible

I have 37 x 13.5 Ridge Grapplers, Max Tow package, 4.10's. I am very happy with the daily driving performance an fuel economy. I average 18.5 MPG city and highway combined, with 80 to 85% highway driving.

@Jay Gatsby That's why I do 8 to 10 minute videos of my mpgs so you can actually see I'm not resetting it and picture means nothing really because anyone can hit reset and then coast and get the dash to read 20+.

@TARHEELKIDD I get around 17.2 mpgs on much lighter tires than your running but do have a similar setup with a winch and 2.5 inch lift. The most I ever get is 18.5 and that's on 3 or 4 hour long trips. It's tough to believe that your getting 18+ with those tires without a regear. I drive mine like a grandpa as well. I also have a 2020 Max tow A/T.

Probably be a good idea to verify your gear set and make sure you are programmed for it.

I am not trying to dispute anything and I have not reset anything just to get high numbers. I can only go by what I have at hand and not knowing the full history of the Jeep, I go with what I do know. 18.3 to 18.5 is what I average with mostly Highway driving. I took the pictures on this trip since it is the first time I averaged over 19. There was a lot of downhill coasting, etc. mostly driving approx 50 to 60 and very rarely higher. With the Garmin and GPS, the MPH is off 2-3 MPH at 80. I drive my YJ for the local roads on the weekend. 4.0 inline 6 and 35's, manual, I re-geared, 4.56. It rarely sees the highway and I average 10 MPG. I was very surprised at the numbers.

I wouldn't be too worried about MPG, but I would be concerned with actual mileage tracked on the odometer.

3mph off at 80mph is a 3.75% difference. Meaning your actual mileage is prob ~1560 miles less than the 41576 showing on your rig

over the life of the vehicle, its prob only off by a single oil change, which is no big deal, but I would like it as close to actual as possible

Actual height is 35.7 mounted and that was in a 2010 JKU. They are light though.
If I had a nickel for every time my 37-in ko2s were mistaken for 35s I'd have 15 to 20 cents.

37x13.50R17 Yokohama Geo X-AT on 17x9 AR Baja II wheels. Been on as my daily for almost three years. Before that 35s of the same tire was my daily. Also offroad, rock crawl, and tow with the same tires.

I get 18.2mpg on gas '22 JTR with stock 33 falken ATs, with a RTT...mostly on flat 65mph freeway. The fuel economy variability people report with these JTs is rather astonishing.... especially when 37s come into play. What gives ?

It’s time for new tires and I was thinking about going to 37s. Was looking at the FALKENWILDPEAK A/T3W. I’m currently on 35 nitto ridge grapplers. It’s my daily driver and I have 71,xxx miles. Is it a bad idea to switch to 37s? 2020 rubicon, 2 inch mopar lift.
I have 37s but they are on the smaller side of size and weight-- BFG TA KO2s... they are great, no issues on my '21 JTRD...

Well if you had gotten a diesel you could have better mileage.... just saying. Most JTRDs are getting 23-27 mpg depending on where we live, how we drive and mods. Most gassers are in the teens depending on where they live, how they drive, and mods.

You don't save $$ with a diesel. Service and fuel eats it up. The weight and $4K up front is also a factor.
