My Magnuson supercharger was just installed on my 2020 JTR. I went to pick it up after it had been test driven by the installer. Shortly after I cranked it, the check engine light came on. The codes were not disastrous, mostly a cylinder misfire and some older codes. They were cleared out. I drove about 26 miles at moderate driving to break it in and for the transmission to "learn" my driving style. I parked it for an hour and let it cool. Then I went out to drive it again as part of the breaking in. I was on the highway and gave it some gas to pass a very slow moving truck and it sputtered. Once I got to the exit, lights were flashing and it went into limp mode. I pulled off the road for a minute and turned off the engine. After a coupe of minutes, I restarted and it drove fine other then the engine light being on.
I went to the installer and it went into limp mode again. This time, the Electronic Throttle Control light started flashing and it stayed in limp mode. We replaced the throttle body with on we know works properly and that had no effect. The gas pedal reading was odd, as it was either 100% or N/A and went back and forth between those values. I had to leave it at the shop.
Wondering if anyone else has ETC error coded in your gladiator.
