Today, I was following my JT and noticed about 3-4 bounces after crossing railroad tracks. I have a Smart cap on the bed with 200lbs of gear that rides all of time. I also have a winch up front. I don't think I'm going back with Fox shocks. What other options are there for a Rubicon with no lift? I saw that Bilstein shocks are a good choice, just not sure on the weight I carry.
Billsteins 5100's are a good entry point .. Falcons are a good choice . I am lifted 2.5 but they sell shocks for those that aren't

I didn't want to hear that. My son said the same thing. My thoughts were that the Fox shocks failed because of the weight. I like the idea of putting the JT on a scale. Bilsteins seem to have a backorder problem at the moment. I couldn't find any locally and very few on line.
My factory Rubi Fox shocks failed at 40k miles. They were mostly a marketing gimmick. I went with Bilsteins and it’s much better.

60k now. I just noticed it when I was following my wife. I drove it just hours before she got in it. I didn't notice anything strange. After seeing the bounce, the next time I drove it I could feel the mush.

Did you check with Northridge? They are a big Bilstein dealer.

Another place to check with is Kolak Performance.

Should be around $100/shock.

I bought mine from Kolak for $84.75/each, but that was almost 4 years ago.
Shows 30 days out

Looks like I'm getting what Walmart has in stock.

Just kidding. $110 each at Jackit. Not sure if I go that route if they will then show backordered too.
