Tow package and Max tow package are NOT the same!

So I JUST looking into this yesterday!
A couple weeks ago I purchased a gladiator rubicon and on my sticker it DOES NOT say max tow package but!.... it has the larger fan, the 240A alternator and 4.10 gears and I confirmed this by googling the part numbers on the fan and alternator

Rubicon comes with the 4.10 ratio - period. No biggy, doesn't mean anything about towing. Rubicon JT has always had that ratio. They have a towing package available, too, but not the "max tow".
The larger alternator is becauase it's a Rubicon, not because of "max tow" - all of the electric accessories, like the aux switches, electric axle locks, electric sway bar disconnect, etc. - so it's going to need that.

That's only the limited slip REAR, not the locking diffs like Rubicon.
The LSD was an option on the Overland all along (with 3.73 only, it wasn't available in the 4.10 last year) they added it to the Sport S max tow package this year, it wasn't part of the max tow package last year - not that I saw

Right - it's LSD only, not the locking differentials - not the same thing. It's REAR ONLY limited slip is what that means. The term Jeep uses is totally strange as it's not a locker, it's limited slip, just like what I have.
Only Rubicon comes withe the true locking differentials - front and rear. Electric.

Overland comes with the trac-loc (LIMITED SLIP) with 3.73 as the only ratio

Sport S max tow now offers the trac-loc (LIMITED SLIP with the 4.10 in the max tow package.

i had to go with standard size tires 245/75R17 for ride height as same as the f250 which it replaced . mopar brake controller left side of wheel . Curt 61052 gooseneck hitch in bed Curt unversial 61102 under the bed

Like I said - that's the web site, not the legal sticker on the door frame.
IF you have any troubles, an accident, or something breaks, that sticker is king, not the web site which has some members' numbers all over the map.

What you posted is not the sticker - the number they assign to it as built at the factory and that the insurance company will go by. They ain't gonna even bother with a web site - they'll look at that sticker.
Do what you want, thankfully, it won't be around me if you exceed that sticker.

yes i agree 100% but my tow weight is only 5500 lbs max 6500 full loaded with saddles harnesses etc . I dont care about tow weight cap . its all in the stopping power not towing Mopar brake controller in charge of four dexter nev-r-adjust 12 inch electric trailer brakes the with power to drag the jeep to a stop , with all the weight over the tires and plenty of padding in the trailer so my babies will not even know what happened . They love looking out the windows wondering where Im taking them next they are going to love the trip to Daytona I have to stop every 150 miles and let them graze at the rest stops going to take Two days from NC .

The 4.1 and stuff are standard on the Rubicon. The axle is only available on the max tow and Rubicon.

Anyone else get this on mopar site. I have a Mojave and it lists my tow capacity as -1lb or -4.5 million kg?

Ignore that site. Don't know why folks are putting any stock in that since so many come up with such bogus numbers. Some have -1 and others have crazy high numbers.
The door jamb sticker are the only numbers that count.

The web site says mine will tow 6300 pounds - HAHAHAHAHA - I laughed at that, no way, not with the 3.73 ratio and that engine. That's 300 over what anything else says, and even 6 is more than what I'd trust a stock Overland with.

Since when is 1 pound equal to 4.5 million kg............

I would suggest the Curt Spectrum controller, and the Gladiator specific Curt harness. It's about half the cost, and just as capable as the factory controller.
