Do we need to bother with fact-checking? Boo. Boo that AI man. Downvote/thumbs down/block.

Especially when they start off saying the Colorado has a 6-cyl.?

One of the reasons why I stopped looking at MSN was the sheer amount of clickbait trash.

This AI slop is annoying. Further, I have absolutely ZERO interest in a fuel-guzzling 392. Fuel prices are pushing $6 here right now. There is nothing more unattractive than thirsty V8's. I drove those things for 20 years then moved to diesel. I wish they'd focus on hybrid vehicles which use ICE as onboard generators. Gas V8s are not the future.

I wish gas was cheaper and gas V8s were the future.

Maybe they could have if they'd stop promising investors crazy returns on a new product they didn't fully develop before release, they wouldn't have axed the PHEV project altogether. Nope, instead they paid Samsung for the HV battery design, and we ALL know just how great Samsung is at designing batteries in the last decade...

The powerplant wasn't the issue, it was the sheit battery design. If you have the money, the confidence/balls to teardown/rebuild the HV battery pack with better cells/thermal management you could easily swap everything over. Just make sure you unplug the XM/Cellular antennas before using them this time XD

Only roadblock there is: states are starting to outlawing EV conversions for road use cars (California) as they're claiming the EV conversion makes them unsafe. While not entirely true, it's more about the fact you need to supply upwards of 7 "production ready vehicles of the same model" for safety testing and pay $20k+ before they'll consider allowing your vehicle for sale as a road-use vehicle. Cali is the biggest reason you don't see more EV conversions on the road.
