I was entertaining splicing into the fuel line under the hood and adding a tee/valve/electric fuel pump and a "barb" to use as a fuel source for atvs. Probably run off aux switch. Anybody done this? Any lessons learned?

Do you REALLY want to mess with factory fuel lines - gasoline lines, extra stuff like that, under the hood of a Jeep - where we've all seen multiple photos of burned to a crisp Jeeps?
Adding the fumes, possibility of gas on a hot EGR or exhaust manifold or cat down below running at over 1,000 degrees?
Ask yourself - is the risk to warranty and safety worth it.

Cutting the factory steel lines, connecting to them with rubber hoses, rigging an electric gas pump under the hood, another piece of hose from that pump to where you want to fill.
Then you have to lean into the truck to shut the pump off...........

Hmmmm, not me and I'd not even be involved in helping. I can see too many ways that goes sideways, and if there's a fire - what's insurance going to say "what the heck is this all about"?
Honestly, you may want to think of at least a safer way, if nothing else.

Yeah, I just really hate seeing stuff like this..........

Jeep Gladiator Underhood fuel transfer valve and pump 1706483284782

I'd find a way into the tank, rig it all up in the bed of the truck away from hot stuff.

From a technical standpoint, I think it is doable and the easiest point of access would be the plastic fuel line connection that goes into the injector rail to the right of the oil filter. That would be my tap point.

That being said, I still think it would increase safety risks of inadvertent fuel line damage in an accident and possible fuel line rupture and fire risks.

I am with Debbie Downer @ShadowsPapa and most of his points.
