To put the size of the key in perspective: When I bought my truck I thought that was for my cell phone, so I used it as such.

That fob is annoying as heck. But what I really hate is the damned button always gets pressed in my pocket, which deploys the actual key. Which rips my pockets apart. I am going to trim that button down with my Dremel pretty soon.

If you get a cover it doesn't do that anymore (at least it hasn't for me or my wife in 2+ years.
Of course, that adds a tiny bit of bulk, but decent tradeoff for me.

I added this cover. It eliminated about 95% of the random key openings in my pocket.

I had something that came with a thick, black rubber band. Wrapped that around the fob. Key stays put now.
