2021 Gladiator Mojave
I'm new on here. I got my first brand new Jeep. I got a 2022 Gladiator Mojave. I've an 83 CJ-7 for 10 years now. I built it myself. There is practically no comparison to the new jeeps.
Ive also learned in my research that not all Rubicon's are the same. That includes the Mojave editions. I saw two Mojaves side by side at the dealership where I bought mine. One was 59,000.00 the other was only 54,000.00 the were the same color and they almost looked the same. One had high performance shocks the other didn't. The one with the high performance shocks had what looked like 3 inch lift. I could go on and on. The one I bought had a transmission cooler and 8 speed transmission.it also came with 33" mud tires and 4.10 gears with lockers in the rear. I'm saying this because I've noticed people complaining about their purchase. I hope I helped someone with my input.

OP, I'm sorry, but you need to educate yourself on the current Jeep.

I too had a CJ7, and there is zero comparison between that generation and this other than the name Jeep on the vehicle.

The JT comes in 4 basic trims, Sport, Overland, Rubicon, Mojave. There are variants across the Sport trim with different names, but they are still based on the Sport.

There are no Rubicon Overland's or Mojave Rubicon's (or vice versa) if you find one with the other suspension on it, someone has done that after factory and if it's selling as new, run away.

There are two (2) axle widths, the Sport S Max Tow, Rubicon, and Mojave come stock with the wider width. I can't attest to diesel, not interested in one and have never dug deep into one. You will hear people say the Mojave has a wider axle than the others, they are wrong or misinformed. The Mojave has a different wheel offset which gives it it's wider stance.

The Mojave has a reinforced frame, cast iron knuckles, reservoir shocks, taller hood and windshield cowl. That sets it apart from ALL other trims.

The Rubicon has front and rear lockers, front sway bar disconnect, and 4:1 transfer case. That sets it apart from ALL other trims.

The Sport S with max tow has the highest towing/hauling capacity. That sets it apart from ALL other trims.

You will continue to get flamed, anywhere you go, if you continue to spread information that is not true.

Another thing, when you quote someone and type a response, do it BELOW and OUTSIDE of the quoted text if you want your response to be seen. No one wants to constantly read through the quoted text to find your response.

Mine came with the fox shocks with the extra reservoir. The only thing mine didn't have was the disconnect for the front end.
Mojave doesn't come with the sway bar disconnect.
Rubicon does, it's standard on them.
Mojave is a level all by itself and is more for sand and desert.
Rubicon is made for climbing the rocky sides of the grand canyon or climbing up Everest.

It's a MOJAVICON or it could be the all elusive OVERICON
most likely just a con and he got scammed into something it isn't.
Pics or it didn't happen!
In the future please refer this thread to "The Last Jeep I'll Ever Own" aka O

Since the Majovecon is the ideal combination, the best of all worlds, it's the last Jeep he'll ever own.
But the most likely scenario is it's the last Jeep he'll never own.
