Seems I have noticed this on mine, and several other in various parking lots. Does anybody else show this distortion?

It tends to be at the rear top of the wheel well, if you focus on a light or image in the reflection and move forward to back you will see the image break up and or divide.

Have you check the reflections on any of the doors? You'll be disappointed lol

Door and hoods are obvious. And cool
with that.

I was just looking over the truck bed with the fine tooth comb as I was in a small fender bender. I was concerned that it was a buckle from the impact. I looked at a couple new gladiators yesterday on the lot and several of them had the same wavy panel there.

The front door hinge area bothers me every time I see it, which is all the time, both sides. I figure one day I'll take it to a dentless repair place and get the doors straightened out. Should be a minor and easy job for them.

Also check the gas door area from your rear view mirror! Sorry, you can’t unsee it.

there is a vertical seam running from the rear of the fuel door, straight up… all 3 of my gladiators had it …

I was entertaining a quality paint job in bikini metallic… perhaps in a decade when my white factory paint is toast.

would be nice, but I always assumed it had something to do with the hinges in the torque of the screws. I would be surprised if it’s something a Pdr guy could fix.

My PDR guy messed around with the areas around the fuel filler door and said there wasn't anything he could do to get rid of it. He made it a little better, but that's it.

As far as the bedside area that the OP identified, both sides of mine have a very slight wave in that spot. It is not noticeable unless you carefully focus on the reflection of something while moving back & forth. But, my JTM is white, so it does a great job of hiding a lot of imperfections.
