Looking into WDH or anti-sway and not really sure what route to go since I have high capacity springs and when my trailer is connected the truck sits pretty much level.

I was looking at the Equal-i-zer WDH. My trailer falls within their 400/4000 version, but their 600/6000 is on sale and I was thinking of that in the event we ever get a larger trailer. However, with my truck not really needing the weight distribution I'm unsure if the 600/6000 will be too much.

Or, since my truck really doesn't need the weight distribution aspect of it do I just look into an anti-sway kit?

Or just don't even worry about it? Our trailer is probably 3k lbs at the very heaviest. The only real reason I've been looking is we see quite a bit of cross winds, so anti-sway was on my mind.

Not an expert, and I haven't dealt with WDH in quite some time, but iirc, they used to have a little bit of range adjustment, in case you had a heavier or lighter load. So could you get the heavier WDH and set it on the lightest setting? Probably a Q for the mfg to answer.

The "worst" case is the weight gets put on the front axle instead of the rear. I think. Again, it's been a while. I could be completely wrong in this.

Anti-sway is probably more important than WDH for lighter weight trailers.

Get your setup weighed at a CAT scale, that way you'll know for sure how much weight is getting put on each of the Gladiator's axles. WDH will help a ton with crosswinds and it doesn't hurt to put that extra 15% weight on the front axle (better steering) as long as it doesn't push you over any limits.

We have the Andersen WDH and in that setup you can adjust the tension on the chains and such which will change how much weight get's pushed forward.
