What’s the best trip you’ve taken in your Gladiator so far?

For me it was the trip home, so far. It was about 2.5 hours of driving on the hiway from LA, but that feeling of being up above the traffic in a gently swaying Jeep again was pure euphoria.

Honestly, that’s a perfect answer.

Sometimes the best Jeep trip is just that first drive home where it finally hits you that it’s yours. The ride, the view over traffic, the Jeep sway… hard to explain unless you’ve experienced it.

The next one I'm taking. Which will be from Anchorage to Denali National Park, east across The Denali Highway between Cantwell and Paxson, then over to Valdez, then back to Anchorage.

All to test equipment and for the love of the road.

The Denali Highway alone should be THE Gold Standard for your products' testing stage. If your protector can withstand that road and the windshield come out smooth and lovely, and you could show it, it would be a major milestone for you.

And look. There's someone here who is about to drive it and has a camera. How odd.

EDIT: To the couple of people who've asked for it, I will be taking a ton of pictures documenting the trip. And probably more than a few of me doing a dumb thing. I promise to post them all on here and on my Insta. Swears it.

I've only been on one big offroad / camping trip in the Gladiator, and that was to Palo Duro Canyon and that was a great trip that used the truck as intended.

But, I have been camping with my truck to Atlanta Motor Speedway for NASCAR weekend twice, and that's a weekend that's not possible without my truck (I don't need a JEEP, but I need my truck...) and that trip is basically a tie for Palo Duro for other reasons.

Honestly that’s a great answer too. Sometimes it’s not even about the craziest off-road trip, it’s about the trips your truck makes possible.

And camping at Atlanta Motor Speedway for NASCAR weekend sounds like an absolute blast

Definitely one of those “this is why I bought this thing” kinds of trips.

I went to Easter Jeep safari this year . Last year was the Nor Cal BDR. Anza Barrago , Death Valley, East Sierra, all trips have been great.

For me, that was not the case. I bought mine used, it was 2 years old. I always try to not buy used, I like new because then I know the history from the day it was born.

My ride home was maybe 1 hour, but I spent that hour with the radio off and I tried to listen to every sound I could. Listening to it during the test drive is not like the drive when you are now responsible for the car notes.

I got home, left it running and popped the hood. The drive was was a lot longer than the test drive. I looked at everything as if the winning Powerball numbers were hidden somewhere under that hood. No leaks, no squeals, no whines. Before buying, I did crawl underneath to look for scuff, scrapes, dents on any skid plates or frame. I found none but did the inspection again, just the same.

I guess my first ride was filled with trepidation, not smiles. I did call my wife on the way and she asked how it's going. I said, "I'm back home." She said, "You're already home ?" "I didn't say at our house. I'm home where I belong." "Oh. In a Jeep. You are such a goofball.". Yep.

But, all those concerns were gone. After the first week.

Where is this at in AZ?

The first one is on Apache Lake, near the Burnt Corral camp ground. The second one is near the Lone Pine saddle trail head near Four Peaks.

Actually was a long road trip, with very little off-roading. N Idaho to Alaska. Took the far western route. Springtime run.

Last year I, went back to Utah from Texas. Traveled thru NM, into Utah, stayed inBluff, Monticello, and Moab.
Didn't stay but a day in Moab, I should have but didn't like how crowded and busy it was for such a small city,ill be back I'm sure.
But my real adventure was when I head from Moab to Colorado. Headed to Cortez, Pagosa Springs, and ended up by accident at a small fishing camp on the Conejos. Fantastic camp cool, river right behind the casita, quiet. Great way to end my trip, and I'll be back.
