I'm going to offer a tonneau cover for both usability and if you're a cheepskate like me, bang for the buck. Toss in the bed divider board too in both categories.

Nothing tops wheels /tires for appearance in my book.

Comfort....it's a jeep, a second car if you want comfort

Appearance = Diamondback HD Tonneau Cover or 3 piece Rubicon Steel Bumper with bull bar.

Comfort = Cross between my AEV steering damper (less steering play) or Teraflex wheel spacers (wide stance until I get aftermarket wheels with a more negative offset)

Bang for the buck = Rubicon take off suspension

Usability = Go Rhino RB20 side steps or Bestop Sunrider for Hardtop

You guys crack me up! On my basic Sport (manual, crank windows) I added a magnetic cell phone holder and a ski rack. Could not be happier with my current setup.

Oh, and I cut a couple of 2x4s to fit in the slots in the bed to keep grocery bags in place.

Not a rock crawler, but do have lots of snow here. I love Vlad the Glad!

For fun, adding a few things not mentioned often above:

Appearance - mud flaps, any kind. Not because they look good. Defense.

Bang for buck - dead pedal. Sunrider or tonneau if just “best bang”. Console insert if just lowest cost for useful item.

Comfort - well dead pedal again, but since i used that - oh I’m gonna flamed for this -but I was in a seriously foul mood when XM radio went out briefly.

Can’t argue with that! But I honestly can’t complain about my High Altitude. Heated seats/steering wheel, adaptive cruise and a great sound system. Overall it’s pretty damn comfortable on the HWY.

Since I haven't done a lift and wheel/tires yet...

Appearance - window tint (could also fit under comfort)

Comfort - dead pedal (could also fit under bang for buck)

Bang for buck - Tazer Mini since I got it for $100 although you could also put it under usability

Usability - probably the tonneau cover here, I use the bed for storage all the time.

Most of what I choose probably crosses multiple categories as you can tell.

Heard this enough on this that I just ordered one! Thanks for the tip.
I'm amazed how many people are into the dead pedal... I'd rather have the extra room to move my leg around and stretch. I've never even thought about it in the Gladiator specifically until this thread. My 6 speed TJ doesn't have one either. Or the Ram.

Have the parts delivered to your shop or a buddies house and hope she doesn’t notice the changes. Works about 50% of the time for me
Love the idea…but…she handles the bills! No escaping the UPS stink eye for me. Lol
