What are these brackets/clips in the bed.

I bought my vehicle Pre Owned Certified, am I missing some tonneau cover that should of came, can I remove these or what are they for?

They told me to pound sand. Ill just chaulk it up to should of said something day of getting the vehicle. So if I look a little harder I can just remove those then, or any one know which cover they may work with and Ill just get that cover?

Those look identical to the brackets for the Rugged Ridge tri-fold soft tonneau cover I had.

They look similar to the brackets for the Mopar soft Tri-fold that I had on my first truck. It went back on when I traded it in. I now have a RSI Smartcap.

He bought it used. It was probably removed before trading in or it was damaged and they removed it. My trifold Mopar cover had those brackets and it started cracking right after the 3/36 ran out.

I was totally happy with it, as far as a tri-fold goes. Could have it off in just a couple of minutes when needed.

Im pretty sure thats it, while its nice not my style I would either want a hard top removable or a soft roll up.

I hated that mine wouldn’t go up against the cab. I had to remove it when hauling large items or a load of gravel, mulch, etc. I replaced it with a Bak Flip MX4, but it was a toss up between that and a revolver. Both would have worked well for me. The revolver rolls up and the Bak Flip can go up against the cab like a headache rack.

One of my few peeves about my truck I would like a easier way to fold it up flat to the glass and have pins to remove it I had those wing nuts
I have toyed with a couple rear hinge ideas.. I'm sure i will have something soon and I will post up
