I added a 30" lightbar on the hood. Got plans for more lighting, just not sure what yet

30 inch lightbar on Jeep.jpg
Oorah Devil Dog!

Might be the angle of the picture, does your hood scoop get in the way of the light bar? the light looks low in the picture.

Semper Fi my brother! It's the angle - it does "look" low but actually it clears the hood just fine when looking from the front.

The 37" Eldorado Mud Claw fits under the bed as a spare tire. It's a tight fit.
Picture's of the spare tire with 40 psi in it. The top of the tire is sitting flush with the frame. No gaps.

Found that mice chewed on the front plastic alternator shield. Sprayed peppermint oil everywhere and on the ground, put 4 mouse traps in the engine compartment, and installed a high lumens LED light in the engine compartment.

I washed it after camping for 6 days. Then installed Desert Does It Shorty seat jackers. My wife, and I, don’t like that the passenger seat doesn’t raise and lower. I’m tall enough that I think I’ll like it on the driver side also, so I installed them on both sides. We’ll see how I like them after driving around a bit. Tough to change how seats are angled after 36k miles of muscle memory. But I think the angle will make the buckets more comfy.

Seat Jackers for the score! I also installed the Desert Does It shorty seat jackers today. I only have 300 miles on my JTR but I was getting a sore back because of the seating position. Drove it about 50 miles today after the seat jacker installation and it appears to be just what was needed to cure the back issues. I find it very strange that the current seating position decisions were made. I have driven nothing but 4x4s as dailys since 1984. All were solid front axles except an IFS Isuzu and that was the one that gave me back aches. The only cure for that in 1992 was to put a Recaro seat in and that worked like a charm. I still have an 88YJ that I purchased new and now have 250K miles on it. The YJ, as it sits, with factory snowplow front springs is more comfy to sit in than the Gladiator.

I changed the oil today. Guess I'm rotating wheels in the morning. Never do too much in one day!
Rotated the wheels today. I also remembered to log it right away.

Scheduled a service appointment for the rear window leak and for the drip on the drivers floor when opening the door. End of July is the best they could do. I think this will just be an assessment of the issue and not a scheduled work day. Then we can schedule an actual work day just to order parts. My guess is 200 miles of driving and 4 hours of drive time. This may seem like a complaint but I have it in my mind that is how it will work. Any faster and I will be thrilled.

Email says my CK badge just shipped!
Nice. Mine too today. I’ve got all the AZ stuff grouped together. My first complete state. One more in UT, and hopefully will knock out a decent number in CO this year. Can wait to run another trail with you. Thanks for setting it up.

Well first day back from a two week TDY to Bliss. Took the opportunity to drive the TJ out and drop it at a buddy’s place.

Had to take a break from the pavement at hour 20 of cumulative driving. Overall it wasn’t terrible, but a TJ really isn’t the greatest on a road trip?

Today was the first day back so I installed these guys and rotated the tires. Under Milo’s careful eye of course
