Pretty good day, I have set the caster angle, And it rides smooth as silk. Centered the body with the RC adjustable track bar, And mounted cowl covers. I don't know why why I like them so much!!!
Even cut out for the ditch lights. yeah, a pretty good day!

Big day. Front wheels are on. And I backed it out of the garage for the first time since 4/19. The gas tank is attached with a lashing strap. The track bar isn’t torqued, the wheel is crooked. But I hadn’t done any of that yet. But I needed to see if I could get it out of the garage, and it hadn’t even moved since a tranny own replacement and fluid change. It shifted like butter. Of course I didn’t go further than my driveway or yard. But it didn’t grenade. RCVs are silent and butter smooth after the rebuilds. It still needs all the skids, and don’t have the tank skid replacement yet, but it was a big step.

I did lose my rake. There’s 5/8” of it left. So I’m going to need taller rear springs. No way to know until it was on the ground though. Thanks for everyone’s support through this process.

I did some super basic articulation tests in the yard. I don’t think I’m at any risk of bottoming out the shocks with how the bumps are setup. The jury is out regarding the drag link. But I think it might be ok.

Anyone running rock krawler 4.5” springs? That’s what’s on my front end now, and I’m wondering if their matching rear 4.5’s maintain rake, and how much.

They’re really good to me. Meaning they support me to no end. I have been through lots of their parts. :)

A few weeks ago I built and wired this nice bed power box. It’s fed by 4 AWG to a distribution block hidden above the spare. 3 -12v plugs, 1 usb, 1-50a Anderson.

Built a Starlink Mini case that will mount to the JCR roof rack for off-grid overlanding.

Has an Anker C300 power pack with solar panels in case we are ever stuck without power.

Installed waterproof bulkheads for both solar charging and connection to the Starlink panel. Still have to install another bulkhead for the constant power when the box is mounted on the roofrack and not running off battery/solar power.

Also has USB-C bulkheads for charging mobile devices as well as charging the Anker battery pack itself.

Box contains extra solar cables and Starlink cables. Also has an interior mount for times the panel needs to be put inside and protected.

Power comes from a 30V step-up connected to my Rough Country switch panel.

Can't wait to test it out on the trail!

I have RK 3" in the front and RK 4.5 in the back. I used longer springs in the back to give me more preload to get rid of the squat I had. I have just a touch of rake in the back now when I am not fully loaded. I would suggest getting some spacers in addition to the the longer springs. The RK springs are a little soft for carrying a bunch of crap.
