Have you ever used or heard of BOSS? My brother-in-law is one of their hardware/software engineers. I've seen some of the the projects he has developed over the years. Now, he drives a Prius and never plowwed a drive way. So I am curious if BOSS has a reputable product.

You mean the BOSS snow plows? Yeah. They also only show their plow only working with Sport or Overland as far as the Gladiator.

I bought my Western through a local dealer - I checked around, and availability and close location were an advantage (but they had never installed one on a Jeep so wanted to see mine when it was done back in 2022)

But BOSS is a big brand in plows.

No............. I'll post a bit more on that in the thread I had going. It's getting more complex and now Jeep customer service wants my Jeep back at the dealership for ANOTHER "Chrysler case" as the guy puts it.
HUH? You kept it for days to get photos and measurements then decided "not our problem" and drop the case, now you want it back, to open a case??

Installed the SEC10 hood decal I got from Extreme Terrain. Went pretty easy but did have to remove the hood tie down and washer nozzles as it was not cut for them.

Installed a single ARB air compressor beneath the brake booster in the engine bay. Used 4 existing posts on the firewall and a DIY fabricated mount. Wired it to a DIY auxiliary switch panel. The setup will include remote air chucks to inflate all four tires simultaneously, and a shut-off ball valve with a pressure gauge for simultaneous deflation.

The compressor sits on a DIY aluminum bracket modeled after the $98 [Banned Site] mount.

Hardware Needed to Mount Air Compressor:

• (4) M6 Serrated Nuts
• (2) 4mm Spacers (1/8" Equivalent)
• (1) 6mm Spacer (1/4" Equivalent)
• (4) 1/4"-20 Nuts (Nylon Locking)
• (4) 1/4"-20 Bolts x 1/2"
• (4) M6 SS Washers
• (8) 1/4" SS Washers

Tools:

• 22mm Socket (Wheels)
• Trim Pry Tool
• 10mm Deep Socket or extension
• 4mm Allen Set
• 7/16" Wrench
• 14mm Wrench
• 19mm Wrench

welp, a few days ago I pulled the top off, use alcohol pads to clean the seal and clean the mounting surface, as well as the seals around the sliding window and my whistle noise stopped...

... but now it's back... not as loud, but it's back.

Maybe a very light coat of SilGlide on the gaskets would keep them tight.

Which system are you going with?

I am going with the Rock Crawler one. They will answer questions over the phone. Got a good deal from Northridge. Will probably cost 7-800 with the welding. I should have done it when I did the lift. Would not have needed the track bar or the rear track bar bracket.

First thing I did to my Mojave. 2nd was 37's. Boy, it really escalated fast.

I'm hoping to get someone back there to listen and see if they can pinpoint where exactly it's coming from. problem is with my rear platform they need to be smaller so they can move around lol.

Today was electrical day.

Wired in a ANCEL BM200 battery monitor. Also put in a NOCO battery tender lead set.

Hardwired in a license plate light reverse blanking relay.

Just got my first Jeep less than a month ago, haven't even made the first payment yet, and I'm already modding it! Today I put gas struts under the hood, added some AliExpress sill guards, Changed out the front bumper, and most importantly, got a HOODIE FOR MY GEAR SHIFT!

Got to use my little magnetic parts tray for the first time too. Pretty sweet little gadget.

This thing is so stupid and unnecessary, but it just makes me smile and chuckle every time I look at it. 5 bucks well spent.

Wired up the KC Hilite Gravity Pro titans. The wire harness between the lights is barely long enough to cross the jeep’s firewall. It should be 3-6” longer. The included 10 amp and 20 amp fuses are overkill, the dust lights pull ~3amp and the main lights 15 amps. I’ve wired both to the 15 amp AUX 3 and 4 switches.

Also installed a Glow Badge Aux switch board.
