Perhaps. We'll see what I feel like.

A PDR guy probably could have did it from the start and not crack the paint. But whatever. At this point I was like well let's see what I can do 😂
Battle wounds. A solid recovery.

We’re men. We must fix it, and fix it now.

It’s high drama at my house when something breaks at Casa Gonemad.
Legit how my mind went.

I went inside and tried to sit and watch the race a few minutes.

Nope. I must go do *something* about it.

Changed the fuel filter. Installed an 94R Odyssey battery. Did the aux battery delete. Ran out of time when I did the oil change and tire rotation 2 weeks ago to do the fuel filter. The aux battery delete. I didn't have to pull fuse 42. Being a diesel. I just connected the aux battery cables to the main battery.

Retired. Finally !!
Well, I installed and wired up my off-road lights on my bumper this morning. Basically Jeep Jewelry because I can't think of the last time I went 4-wheeling at night....but now I can if I want (that's the logic that you have to use to justify...)

It could've went way faster than what it took me, but I am known for my attention to detail, what my co-workers called "anal retentive". I have no dangling wires, all wires are tie-wrapped and "going 90's" as we called it. I never strung a wire across something, I would always mount the wire along something no "free-air" wiring in my wheelhouse. My co-workers would always say "you used 15 feet of wire instead of 5 !!", to which I would counter, "Doesn't MY way look 100% better ?" "Well, yeah, but....". ;)

Looking for a clean install, I didn't want to string the wires over and around the edge of the bumper. I looped the wire under the bracket, removed the license plate holder, drilled two holes in the plastic closeout panel large enough for the connectors. Put the license plate holder back on; all wires hidden. Tie wrapped the wiring harness along the metal tabs already holding the driving lights. Had to pull the grill so I could continue following the driving light harness, tie-wrapping along the way. I crimped all connections, used shrink wrap on all connections. I used insulated and heat shrink quick disconnects on the 12v power to the Aux switch, I wanted to be able to yank it free if it acted up. These lights were made by our buddies in the Far East....

Installed the relay that came with the light wiring harness, wired the power wires to the Aux connections (I LOVE THAT FEATURE !!!),tested, all good. Put everything back on, re-tested, still good. Drank a Pepsi.

I put a bottle and a half of Valvoline's new Restore and Protect Fuel System Cleaner into a full tank of gas. I don't do this often, because I run mostly Top Tier fuel through my Jeeps. But I bought this Jeep at 35k and I have put 35 k on it, so it's probably a good idea. It certainly can't hurt. I will do this probably every 5k miles or maybe every 10k. My Wrangler will get it next. Then my wife's Compass. My Vette will not because it gets Shell V-Power ever tank.

This is a new product and uses different chemistry than typical injector/fuel system cleaners. Hopefully, it will be a good one. You can only get it at Autozone, at the moment. It was $12.99 a bottle. It treats up to 18 gallons, so that is why I ran a bottle and a half.

Drug my son out to help do an oil change and a tire rotation. It went smoothly and he got a face full of wonderful wisdom from his old man. Can anyone identify the bracket in the pic below? Pretty sure it’s aftermarket. Maybe Synergy based on the gray color of it. It on the Driver’s side there. I keep finding parts on this thing I had no idea were there. :CWL:

That looks 100% like the Synergy sector shaft brace. Only the actual brace part is missing and the mount looks bent? Yikes. At least your track bar mount has more reinforcement than it needs...

@srharter Thanks. That’s kind of what I suspected it was but it didn’t look complete to me. I’ll send some pics to Synergy and see if I need to order a full kit or they can make up the difference in what it needs.

Forgot to mention I used the Thor’s Lightning Jeep 4 tire air up system today just to try it out and get familiar with it. Thing worked like a champ!!!! Aired down to 20psi and then up to 36psi. The spare was set to 35 by the Walmart people so needed to even things out. Wifey said” You spent how much just to air up tires?” Then she said,”Check mine too. I want them at 37”. :like::CWL:

Did the custom dented tailgate mod with my trailer tongue box.

Forgot the tailgate was down when backing up.

🤮

Crap, I hate when that happens! I had a similar experience and bent in the front of my enclosed trailer a few years ago.

please post a link on your trailer cam install.

Bled, bedded and a few hundreds miles on it. These delta bbk works so well. It's more linear slowing down compared to the factory acting like an on/off switch.
