I really like that thing. If I didn’t need to drill into the tailgate, I’d be in. Delicate sensibilities. Not logical. Just mental illness. 😁
I can relate. And I suspect with a bit of thought I could have done it all in that plate and not the tailgate proper - meaning replace plate and all would be good. But - what I did with my others when trading them was put black screws in the rivnuts - almost hiding the mod if you didn't pay attention. This one may have to be my forever truck but there are already things I see on Barbara's 2026 I wish mine had. She should have never let me drive that thing - but then, she's still not driving much after the surgery and still can't raise her left arm or grip anything with it. I have to open bottles of water for her.

Installed my new custom seat covers! The materials are wilfire camouflage with diamond stitched charred wood inserts! Shout out to Covers and Camo! They even made more red line flags for the headrest as that is the theme of the Jeep!

Thank you! They are out of Utah and I ordered them over the phone on May 6 and they arrived yesterday! They even sent a little extra of the wildfire camo so I can get my dog’s bed covered that is in her crate that is permanently mounted in the rear seat area. They were top notch! Not cheap but I am happy with what I got!

I really hope her recovery improves quickly. Genuinely. Jeeps come and go. Spouses that let us screw with them constantly definitely don’t. :)

We were at my Mother-in-Law's house yesterday and my MIL asked, "Are you about done doing things to this Jeep ?", my wife immediately says, "HAH !!!".

💯 I’ve got a backlog of parts waiting to go on after the recent trail damage repairs. Can’t seem to find the time to get them out on.

Mine:

"Are you ever going to be done modifying the Jeep?"

Also mine:

"I'm all in favor of you having hobbies but do they have to be so expensive??"

I remind her the difference between men and boys is the price of their toys. LOL

Installed MORE steps over bed sliders. Much easier to climb up when tailgate is down.

I like these. I need to look at my bed sliders and see if this would work with them. Mine aren't Mopar but they're practically exact Asian knockoffs. So maybe.

Welp, there it is. Another thing I need.

Actually these would make a lot of sense. A little easier to reach vs trying to step up onto a 37in tire.

This is the 3rd JT this ladder has been mounted on. A Christmas gift from my wife for my 1st JT - 2020.
So it's been in a 2020, 2022 and now a 2025 JTMX

5mm rivnuts (stainless) and four 5mm stainless screws. Stainless washers act as spacers under the plate. It just clears my tonneau cover latches!

Yep I need one of these too...

I also need one of those in the background also...

My JT has already been labelled as my “girlfriend” by my MIL apparently. 🤔 And my wife’s hairdresser told my wife she (my wife) was in a throuple with me and my Gladiator at her last hair appointment. 🤣

My wifey says that I have 2 mistresses. The JT, and the Nismo. I'm done throwing money at the Nismo. Now it's at the JT.

Installed Teraflex Trail Select Adventure 3.5 lift. Pretty new kit, overall impressed however a crucial piece was lost in shipping.

IMG_2032.webp
What was missing? I bet if you’d flexed and sent them a pic of that garage the piece would have been in there. :CWL:

Good lookin truck and awesome looking garage!!
